Where is Estes Park? Anywhere near the echo lake place we have discussed going on Monday?

This sounds like a plan at least for the two rides.... Everyone meet at or near the registration area for each ride! How much time should we allow for everyone to make it thats going to ride.....?

If we meet at the registration area and then head over in force to the starting location for each ride, I say at the most be at the registration area 15 min before the rides begin. That gives us 10 - 15 min to get to the starting location. does this make sense or am I babbling?

MR GSXR its a little too much info for humble canadian, i think i might just follow u around, my girlfriend will let u borrow my leash haha
No prob, seems Frisco is the exit for Heaton Bay Campground and its only a couple of miles away. We can meet up each morning at whatever time we decide and ride into Copper Mtn together. That would be great.

sounds good mr. gxsr!!, so if ure not staying at the campground, what about crazzycowboy? is that his name, where is he staying?

we'll both be at the hotel. trying to save a little cash these days. bad times for both of us, yet we wanted to make the run. sold it to the Wives by saving a $100 or so each by riding up and staying at the hotel. go figure...

Has anyone been in contact with Scott from MHBO? They seem to making plans as well. Do we want to get everyone together?

hmm well i hope i get my ticket and info i called justin but haven't gotten anything yet this was a week or so ago better go back through my mail mabey.

So is are big groupe still all going or are we haveing a few backing out now> just curious

The ride from Grand Lake to Estes park takes you over Trail Ridge rd, one of the highest roads in the state. The busa's will be gasping for air let alone the riders. Way above tree line, just moss and scub up there. Always tons of elk and big horn sheep. When I was young, one beer up there was like a six pack at sea level. Trail Ridge is usually closed by late September and opens the next June. This ride is a long ride with plenty of tight switchbacks and hairpins, low speed even for the best of riders. Will be a killer time!!!!

doesnt sound like a fun 2 up ride.... probably not gonna extend my ride over there....plus my outta shape butt will be gasping for air

Hey fellaz are there any Mt. Tops I can hit on my way out Mon morning heading north or laterallly towards Montanna ?

Rhythm, it's ALL mountains from Copper heading north, as a matter of fact, you could technically stay in the Rockies all the way to Montana. Now there's one hell of a ride.....Zuk, Estes park is the opposite direction from Pikes Peak....however, the Mt Echo loop can be caught when you're going back down I-70 towards Denver by going south at Idaho Springs. You can run the loop and come back out in Evergreen, hop back on I-70 just above Denver. Great busa road.....

if you're planning on being at Rushmore, mise well go North like Rhythm from Copper. You could stay in the mountains well into Wyoming before you had to head east....gets pretty flat after that....

Cool, I let you lead the way up. I'll be playing  it by ear where I'll be staying after the Round up heading up north. Basically I just want to see Old Faithful or Clepsydra Spouts at Yellow stone Park .
