Book your campsite early because I believe alot of Cyclefest attendies will be reserving these spots because the campsite is listed on the Suzuki Cyclefest site.
See ya there.

Good deal Wayne!! We have a start now! I would have to agree that eveyone with a camper had better get a spot ASAP as they will fill up fast. As for the tent people, (myself included!) I am waiting to hear what their policies are for tents & bike parking. As I read it on the website, you can have up to 10 people at each site. If that is the case, we will have to try & work something out to match up tents with campers. With this group I'm sure we can arrange something!!

Camping reservations
I made my reservation and placed 10 as number of occupants. There is no extra charge so I recommend everyone do this. Just in case!

I will make my reservation ASAP; I will be bringing a Fithwheel Camper, so if any one wants to pitch a tent on my site let me know, I will bring extra chairs for the lite packers, I also have a 4 man dome tent if anyone needs to use send me an e-mail; first come first serve, I will also bring an extra ezpopup shade thingy, hehe

CHEV982; has the tent, If you were interested in it the tent contact him (don't who he will share with), he did say that if he doe's share they must wear underware and so on; but I would thinks thats depends on if it is femal or male,

If it is a female and he wont share because she want's to run around naked I will make room in the fithwheel.

I can get some more tents if we need to let me know,

okay, we (MrGxr, Crazzycowboy, BusainSD, CHEV982) have reservations loop B #16.
Me and MrGxr should be up on Thursday 18th check in after 2pm and leaving on Monday 22nd.

Well, I just found out that ReserveUSA doesn't know JACKS**T about the campgrounds that they take reservations for. They couldn't tell me anything about tent areas or parking bikes. From what I have found out so far, it is a typical Forest Service campground. The FS pays a couple to manage the campground for the summer, so we will just have to be extra nice to them & we should be fine. If anyone knows how to contact someone who is directly involved with the campground please let me know. I need to go for a ride now...

Yes I contacted the forest service for that area, I have the number but is at home I can post it later if needed,

If this is about our vehicles or bikes, you will need to pay the 5 dollar fee for each night, if we can fit them in our space then we are good to go, if they don't fit in our space then they have to be parked in a different area, but don't strees we will be fine for parking. most of the time the forst service department are cool about stuff like this; we just need to remember not to piss them off, and they will be cool.

WaaaaaaaaaY cool--just reserved spot 024.....Just me and the Mrs---but said up to ten people and 45 feet of tents....So if it gets sold out there will be room--don't know how that would work---Ok as long as other Busa.org members might be able to reserve that same #024 site----Welcome..
Just pray the weather is nice...gonna be FUN-----

Nice guys things are starting to shape up... Can't wait for August! The Naked post had Me ROTFLMAO.......

For those people in tents you do not need to make reservations if you don't want to; all you would heve to do is get with some one in a camper that has a reserved spot, and stay in their area, and pay the 5 dollar vehicle fee per night.
Right now I have 2 tents in my area.

contact me if you have any questions; I have the number for the park rangers office and I can call to get questions answered, I will call today and double check on the bike situation and what the limit is for bikes in each spot.

Just wondering if theres any other good lodging nearby besides staying at Copper Mountain. If so, where and who might staying there instead of the resort?

I also noticed that the town of Frisco is only about 5 miles from Copper Mountain. Found their website on their lodgings.  Might save a few $$$ by staying there.Frisco lodgings Frisco

Just a reminder we are still working out the details for a group buy on rooms.... Won't know anything until Feb 07. I'll keep you posted...
