Your 1 stop post for all the info...

I am in for sure.

Depending on what KS comes up with on the resort I have a backup plan for a hotel in Sivlerthorne, only 6 miles away. I am calling back tomorrow to see what the rates are for august. I stayed there 2 years ago for like $35 a night, not the best but good enough and there is an old chicago across the parking lot. I will let you guys know.
Also for those who are riding in to denver on thursday I can offer up my garage and a couch or two and then we can ride up on friday morning.

KS and Scott, let me know if you need some help with things.

Just a comment from this end:

Cycle fest has officially recognized the Busa gathering as part of the event. They are going to give us plenty of room for our festivities including our own parking area. This has happened in part from help of our clubs local supporting dealer called Fay Myers...they will be helping with T-shirts for the event.

Also, Super StreetBike Magazine will be at our event with a photographer. They have offered to sponsor the all-Busa bike show and do a write up on the winner. SSB will also be helping with the T-shirt printing costs

Finally, I have the regional Suzuki rep working on some goodies for us.

All that needs to be sewn up is the BBQ
Thanks to Scott and the mile high busa owners for putting this together! Without them none of this would have been possible........ Today is Feb. 7th, the big day! I will try and post some updates as to prices, rooms, etc, at Copper Mtn Resort. Scott looking forward to meeting and working with you on this event..... Ks (Sonny)

KS... number 18 can be broken down to MrGxr, Crazzycowboy, and one more... there will be three of us... thanks for keeping this together and working out the logistics.

Thanks to everyone involved in this.... There's no way I'm gonna miss this event now

Just renegotiated my contract at work and got the entire week paid for (originally wasnt gonna be PTO) so barring some weird crazy stuff, I'm there with bells on. I should be trailering out from NC so anyone along the way who wants to meet up and caravan in, just let me know.

Currently I'm looking at traveling to Conway AR to stay with some friends and then on to CO from there. 2days of driving
wow.gif
I might have some room on the trailer so if anyone is in the path, just let me know.

(of course the path could change if I find a good spot to crash 1/2 way to CO)

yah KS thanks alot for leading this thing!!
I have wanted to do a long trip (1500 miles) since i started biking!! this is the perfect way to do it, meet up with people midway and then more at the end to do some partying and riding!! I am so excited!!

Thanks to mrgsxr and some others who have made all my trip planning extrodanairly easy!

Moving on to plan "B" looking for anything close to the resort.... Will keep you posted. Thanks for all the words of incouragement looking forward to this ride and meeting up with everyone!

Hey can you mark me as tentative. Just sat down and did the cost of the trip there and back and seems a little out of my budget. ill keep u posted

THEY ARE TAKING RESERVATIONS, GO TO THE LINK I PROVIDE AND CALL TO MAKE RESERVATIONS.
RESERVATIONS... CLICK ME!
If you call ASAP you can get the rates posted on that site (within a few dollars) These are Vendor rates! Not sure how long they will do this. One nights fees will hold your reservation. You can cancel up to thirty days before arrival. 10% fee charged... Or within thirty days YOU LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY... You don't have to worry about blocked rooms the resort is small enough it didn't really matter. Most of the rooms listed will sleep 2-4 adults. Call and ask if you have questions, the rates don't changed based on occupancy! If there's only one or four the fee's remain the same. I did some price comparison to other motels/hotels in the area and found the prices to be in line with the cost of staying directly at Copper Mtn... So, I didn't persue this avenue to far. If anyone comes up with something better than Vendor prices POST UP.... Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Did you get my message, Sonny ?

so is this the place everyone is going to stay at?
rock.gif
if so I'll call and book but dont really wanna loose 10% if the group decides to stay elsewhere
wink.gif

Calm down everybody, these prices are the same they were last year. The only thing is later down the road they might start to fill up fast. Last year they had plenty of rooms so I would not get too worried but don't wait until the last minute to get your reservations.
