I prefer whiskey myself.

One thing I might mention about drinking is if you have never been in the high altitude you might want to take it easy on the Alcohol after riding. It effects people in different ways and you don't want to get Altitude sickness it really sucks.

Come on Feb 7th so we can really get the ball rolling... Both for the folks camping and for the folks staying at the resort. One other quick thing; were looking at having a meal catered to our Tent at CycleFest on Saturday. Still working out the details with Scott from the Mile High Busa club.. I'll keep you posted as there are alot of different things in the works.

Sounds like some good times are a gunna happen this august. Just wish it wasn't 7 months off.:(

By the way add me to your gonna be there list..dad and step brother too..

Hey KS, can you update the first post with all the relevant hotel/camping info that folks are staying at? We have done this in other events at another group and it helps a lot

Good sugestions by all... First let me say I'm sorry for not spending a little more time on this post. I've been far to busy with other activites for the Org. Now, with that said I have a lot of work to do in getting things set-up here. Here is a list of things that are being worked on by Scott over at the mile high busa club.
1. Having a Tent set-up for both clubs at the Cyclefest event. This would be right in there with the vendors and sponsers...
2. V.I.P. parking for anyone on a bike whose a member of either site. More to come on this as things are still in the developemental stages...
3. Looking at t-shirts for the members to commerate the event and having dinner brought in on Saturday to the tent. Cost of dinner would be approx. less than $10.
4. Scotts club is looking to have a bike show at the event with prizes for the top places... (still in the initial phases)
5. Possibility of a national motorcycle magazine doing a write up on the event and our clubs participation.

6. More to come....

I will try and put together a contact list to include names, numbers, etc.. for members to use in setting up there stay at or near this event. Give me a day or two to put this together. The folks at Copper Mtn told me that Feb. 7th would be the earliest they could give me pricing and reservations for this event. Well that day is almost here.... ks

Sounds great KS. Just want to thank you for all the work you have been putting into this.

I would also like to say thanks KS! And I've had some experience setting up large events / get togethers with the avalanche owners group, so if you want any help, just let me know and I'll be more than happy to do anything.

Just a comment from this end:

Cycle fest has officially recognized the Busa gathering as part of the event. They are going to give us plenty of room for our festivities including our own parking area. This has happened in part from help of our clubs local supporting dealer called Fay Myers...they will be helping with T-shirts for the event.

Also, Super StreetBike Magazine will be at our event with a photographer. They have offered to sponsor the all-Busa bike show and do a write up on the winner. SSB will also be helping with the T-shirt printing costs

Finally, I have the regional Suzuki rep working on some goodies for us.

All that needs to be sewn up is the BBQ
