Don't look now but I'm getting paid to browse the web now so looks like I'll get paid to do this even when I'm not at work!
Time to take a spin on the Busa now - it cooled down into the 80's. Tomorrow is Friday and I should be really orniary and ready to take on team green. Kevin - we already know the Busa is Supreme but thanks for mentioning it again anyway. I'll give my Busa a big green kiss for you!

BTW - I'm not too excited about *some* of the postings by Busa guys made on the Kaw sites either. I've about decided this is just a way to have some fun for some of BOTH camps. There is a small group from EACH side that make posts on the other's sites just to stir up shi*. Doesn't seem like a big deal to me. At least I'm not seeing any death threats!

I'll stick up for Fastzx9 here...
As someone who has held a few records (still do), the only reason for setting them is to raise the bar so someone else can come along and break it again. I want to see the first 200+, sub-9.5 production machine.
Without the 'Busa pushing the state of the art to where it is, nobody else would try for the marks above. I think Yamaha is happy with the R-1, and Honda shot its load with the XX...they won't try again for a high-water-mark for probably another few years.
So Kaw is the only potential player, and I'm beginning to bum out...I don't think they are up to it. Fastzx9 is now cheering for the underdog.
Remember, be gracious in defeat, and humble in victory. Respect all opponents, fear none.

Personally I don't need any one to tell me how good my Busa is. Hell I bought it and I ride it. I traded a red 98 ZX9R(my third 9R) to do it. Am I sorry? Not hardly. And the argument that the ZX12 is faster and better than the Hayabusa is just stupid to say the least. The ZX12 is so mired in not being able to do what it has already been said to do,it has just been pushed back for delivery AGAIN. And what tuning tricks are you learning that will work on your ZX? I haven't read a single tip on tuning a ZX9R on this site. What I have read is post after post of outright lies about the superiority of a bike that does not even run well enough to make it's launch yet. Plain and simple. Nothing more bub, and now even the infrerence that a 9R is capable of besting the 1300R. Lay off the bong son, that stuff is making you null and void.

It's very plain to me that you have appointed yourself the the keeper of the flame for the ZX12. And your big thrill in life is spouting lies and inuendo and supposed fact thats do not exist. And when called upon to give even the slightest modicum of proof of any of these totally ridiculous claims have any basis in fact you resort to beating your chest about your prowess on your ZX9R.To avoid the fact that you have NO basis in fact for the claim. And I have no doubt that you are not going anywhere. Obviously your thrills are gleaned from making outrageous statements that you will never have to validate and getting some thrill from the replys. Whatever, you obvoiusly have no intention of ever buying a Hayabusa so of course you post on a Hayabusa owner's site claiming to get some sort of information for your Kawasaki. What a crock of poop.

I'm just calling it like I see it. I came here to share info about my 99 Hayabusa with other owners and maybe learn some things that will make the bike better. Not read a bunch of school boy tripe from a frustrated ZX9R rider who has no interest in the bike at all.

Just for grins........fastzx9 has had his bike in the low 10's in the quarter and if im not mistaken in the high 9's as well. I'd say he is a hell of a quarter mile rider..............and deserves some respect.....

I second VegasDude's statement. Fastzx9 has stated that he is ready and willing to back up any statement he has made. I think he is legit.
Plus he obviously is interested in the Bus, or he wouldn't have over 100 posts here. He just hasn't come around yet to admitting to himself that he's secretly in love with the 'Busa.

Okay, I stand corrected and I will defer to the guys that have been here longer. As for the ZX9R I'm well aquainted with the bike. My 98 was my third. I was able to get 9.95 out of it(Muzzy's Ti exhaust,aftermarket clutch) May 5 at Firebird. Fastzx9 you have my humblest apology and respect and all further posts will be accepted as gospel. The ZX12 IS a far superior bike and will do 210 and 9.3,and your word on this will be good enough. Kudos for being tuned in better than all the news services and magazines on the planet.

Are you sleeping with Todd? Be honest? But because you fail to read the full scope of my comments...I love all bikes. I wish I could own more than one. It's not about coming here for my tips on my bike, I happen to think it runs pretty good for 899 cc's. It's about comparisons to other bikes, mods that the Busa'a are taken to, times and speeds guys are running on theirs, and just plain bike talk. But since you seem to be a 9R guru, can you help me with mine, sir?
As for my ZX-9, I think it's a great bike. Is there better, of course. Buffalo, 9.95 is a very respectable time for that bike. I only wish I could get the horsepower that your 98 had and shed the 70 plus pounds of the 98's and newer. I see you race at Firebird, that's not to far for me to drive.......hmmmmm.

anyway i've got a $50 dollar bill for the first guy that makes a 9.30 pass on a stock zx12 with no mods what so ever. right from the showroom. no make that a $100 dollars.
bring the proof and the money is yours.....
i noticed some guys were giving others a hard time for posting about a nascar race.
i think this zx12 thing falls in the same lines.
i think you should post what ever you want.
if you don't like the topic then don't go into it or don't respond. it's that simple.
there is no sence in trying to devide us as members into differant groups.
we should all be recognised as riders, not the suzuki or kawaski guys.
i know i would help out any kaw,honda,yamaha ect. bike owners if they were in need.
i have my opinion about all motorcycles.
but i respect them all as riders!
if it weren't for those bikes of recent past,suzuki would have never came up with the hayabusa in the first place.
thats why i root them on. that will then give suzuki the incentive to improve the busa even further.
then i know i'll have something even more to look forward to.
remember, it's your toys that keep you young.

Haven't we heard enough about a motorcycle that hasn't even seen the light of day? until it is put on an actual production line all the claims are just speculation! If I wanted to learn about it I would go to the KAWASUCKI sight!!! WHO CARES; THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FORUM FOR THE ALMIGHTY & OMNIPOTENT HAYABUSA! Go huff & puff about kawasucki somewhere else.... All you ZX9's kiss my exhaust 'cause that's all your going to see! HAHAHAHA!
