Jersey does so does PA NY CT and a bunch of others. I won't live in a state with restrictive vehicle or gun laws.
I wonder if in those states where inspection occur that the bike (or car) is unable to have it's emissions systems altered?

I forget where I read it but someone changed out their muffler and intake in their truck but kept the factory ones so they could change them out for their inspection but if they were caught on the street with the aftermarket ones on, they could be charged. Living like that would suck....

I know in one of our western provinces (Alberta) the police have DB readers and have cracked down on aftermarket exhausts....especially on HDs it seems....

You want to hear something really stupid? In California you can be just VISITING from out of state and the CHP can and will write you a ticket for a modified exhaust and any other non CARB compliant parts on your car. ALSO they will write tickets for loud exhaust on STOCK exhausts. Cars like the Veloster N or GT350 if you put the car in sport/loud mode they will issue a fine then make you go back to the dealer and make you pay to have the dealer deactivate that feature. That's Commiefornia for you. The birthplace of hotrods, lowriders and choppers is that far gone.

That's beyond stupid.........one would think an out of state vehicle would be exempt from such stupidiiy.....

Who would want to live there?

Just me with a feed that's full of fake AI images of a non-existent 2025 Hayabusa. Just me huh. Yeah, nope.

I was really looking forward to what the ‘25 colors were gonna be and now I’m not so excited. The matte green is a no go and the silver looks horrible. Maybe I need to be shopping for a gently used Gen 3 in white or black.

None of the new colours really grab me. I’d like to see the green in the flesh, it does look a bit different. I’m sure some folk will like it.

I still like the early 3’s black and gold as my favorite, then maybe the all black, I wasn’t fussed about the anniversary orange, it’s just an old V-Strom colour, but that’s grown on me more now.

I’m only surprised they haven’t done a copper 99 tribute version.
