9.35@145 today. Opinions from the 1/4 mile experts please

You going to Jason Millers school? He can definitely help you get the most from you and your bike.
Are 8's possible with your weight/wheelbase/bike? Yep. Easy? Nope. You will have to get more mph out of your bike though. It just needs to pull what a goog running gen II should(150ish). You are 5mph down as-is. As a general rule of thumb, you will knock off .1 for every 2 mph you gain. 5 mph should gain you around .25 which would put you around the 9.0-9.1 range. Low-to-mid 1.4 sec 60's are possible with your wheelbase. A gain of .05 in your 60' can gain you over .1 in the 1/4.
Get your bike pulling the mph it should, then get to work on your 60's. You will be right there.

Yes
Jason's school. cant wait. Will let you know what happens on the dyno.

Do you happen to have another tire you can slap on before you have it dyno tuned? The Shinko will hurt your hp on the dyno(by 5-10).
As to the pressure, have you run more? Do you have problems spinning? I would not run less than 20psi unless i was having an issue with spinning. Then i'd drop in 2psi increments til the spinning stopped. If 20 is good, i'd up it til it spun(again, in 2psi increments).

how does a shinko make you lose hp?

If that's what you plan on running in the bike. I wouldn't but thats me. I'd wanna make sure of what it makes on pump, especially since your not trapping what you should.

Pump gas 93 octane

Raining and very humid here tonight

I willntry and post the charts tomorrow. I wasnt there and have not seen them yet.

Hp was a little low at the start but is where it should be now, IMO. Tq looks good now too!
You should have been trapping more mph even with the 179hp. You have any way to log your rpm/tps during a run? Wondering if your not getting to full throttle? Are you foot shifting or using an air shifter?

BTW, hp was very good considering the Shinko.

Have you looked at your fibers/steels in the clutch?
I can't recall, anything done to the clutch???

Stock clutch with clutch mod. Doesnt feel like it slips at all. Hopefully I can get to the track this weekend. If not I will be at Mir in jasons class next Friday.

I am assuming that the front will want to come up a lot more with the new front sprocket.

What clutch mod? The one-piece hub? Stk springs? Stk springs and spacers?
Clutch may not be slipping. Would be hard to tell if it was knocking 4-5mph though.
Just dunno what the deal is right now so i'm looking at everything that can affect it.
Jason will for sure be able to help though. He is sharp. Would be cool if he could make a few passes on it too!
Yes, the gearing will make the front lighter. In the vids you posted you did'nt seem to have a problem at all with the front end. If you do, drop your launch rpm and keep launching as normal. Just don't back out of the throttle unless the front is too high. If you back out, it hurts your mph on down the track. You want the front off the ground a little though or your not aggressive enough.
The LM-1 i have can data log your tps and your rpm. Might would be helpful.
The gearing and extra tq down low may help you out. You were launching pretty good though and your 330 and 1/8mi ets show a pretty smooth transition.

Oh, and make sure you get the bike fully up to normal temp before making a pass. It won't trap as well if cold(that is if its tuned correctly, which yours should be).
