Barber Motorsports Park 10-24 and 10-25 2009

Well sports fans!

The weather is looking very favorable, at least at this point.
A 'pacific front' (whatever that is) is said to be heading this way and should be here by late week giving us a 70% chance of rain on Friday.

The current conditions are (unseasonably) DRY and COOL and the front is expected to leave us with continued low humidity, weekend highs in the upper 60s and NO RAIN:cheerleader:

Me and my two Kevins are giddy as school girls looking forward to this one! All three of us are on new scoots and the trash talking is at an all time high:laugh:

Ducati is ready to go, Mr. Busa lacks some last minute tweaks but I'll get him lined out tonight and tomorrow.

Ok, I have my spot for Saturday locked in. I wanted to do both but can't for about a 1000 different reasons. I will drive in early Sat and will look for all of you. Any ideas on how I can find you....and do you mind one more in the merry little group?

We will be down along the fence by the track on the right hand side.
 
no fair no fair no fair. I'm jealous. Just not the right time. Please Please take lots and lots of pics so that I can see them. you all rock...

I think my Moderator sent you my cell phone number, feel free to call if you need anything - we'd love to have you with us!

On the front side and from experience:
* You'll need to join STT if you have not already done so, print out the confirmation email and bring it with you to registration.
* Save (and print) all emails between you and the person you bought the slot from, if they dont do their part and notify Mark / Patty of the sale you will not be 'on the list' and when you go to register you wont exist with them and this can be a problem. Bring those printed emails with you as well. Not a bad idea to go ahead and forward the emails to Mark at STT.

I say all that because one of my buds bought a slot, show'd up all leather'd up and ready to ride but STT did not have evidence that he'd bought a slot from another member and he da*n near did not get to go on track!

You'll need to unhook all your lights and tape over the lenses. I'll have plenty of black masking tape (and tools) on hand and we can help with that if ya need it.

We all arrived yesterday and went over to the track and staked out out spot. The Duc is looking good, I couldn't resist taking a picture after unloading.

What a day.....thanks for the hospitality and the free schooling from Skydivr. I'll post up my pics as soon as I get a chance. Enjoy tomorrow. Can't wait to do it again.:beerchug:
 
Great to have you there, glad to see another Busa out on the track! I wouldn't say I could offer many tips, just passed along what has been given to me from all the great people here. I think you've also been bitten by the track bug...kiss your cash goodbye!
 
I wonder how long its gonna take for Leeds Alabama to replenish their stock of anchovies!
I think Dennis and I probably annihilated the inventory what with all of them we had on pizzas over those two days!:beerchug:

09, Sky, Chat Busa (and Diane - only forgot your name once....), BW / Trish..... I was great to hook up with all of you and I hope to see all of yall again soon!

Time to go get some slicks, tire warmers, slipper clutch, more tools, leather suit..... etc, etc, etc..... this track stuff is bottomless..... Maybe we can get Pizza Hut to sponsor us:rofl:

Those are nice!! With a little photochop I could turn some of his into good pics but not real impressed with what he posted. Oh well...

Can't decide if its worth it to buy any....
