No kidding.....Glad to hear he's more alert!Still wish he'd move the right side more, though...
Come on James, we are all pulling for you and lets get that right side going. I'm glade all of you who know him much better than I do are visiting him, I read this post several times a day to see what going on with and it just keeps getting better.

Puppy Visit update:
James wasn't very perky today, but who would after having a few screws drilled into their thumb. He was still a bit loopy after the surgery. He did have a few moments of obvious conciousness between naps. Hopefully this is his last surgery, so he can focus on healing his brain.
Thanks to Eric for bringing Willy and Lucy to HMC. They're very friendly, and they seemed to enjoy the attention today. Lucy even stopped a white fluff ball, that appeared to be something like a poodle/shitsu mix. She wanted to play, really bad!!! Lucy even took Cherie for a walk.
Some of the strangest characters had shown up today. Eric, WhiteFire, zxmurphy, djoplin and myself.

James is up for visitors. If he doesn't know who you are, just tell him where he knows you from. He is more alert in the mid afternoon or later evening.
This morning I rode to see him. I think he finally recognized me simply because I was in gear and that is how he is used to seeing me... either that or in a bikini but I doubt that would go over well in the hospital. He kept reaching and pushing on my boobs... I told him if he kept it up he was going to pop them...

His previous roomie in 716 got a bit cranky one day...Harborview room 716
James has a window seat now in <span style='font-size:13pt;line-height:100%'>room 705</span>.
He is up for visitors but you may want to visit early afternoon or mid evening... those seem to be the best times to get him at a more talkative state of mind. Maybe / hopefully by friday he'll have the feeding tube out of his nose!!
