busa got IMPOUNDED !!!!!

The court fine will be big but at least it's only a one time fine. If it were me I'd be more worried about the ins bills. A ticket like that will send your rate through the roof this year and years to come. You could also be putting the possibility of ever even getting your license in jeopardy.

I hate to say it but you should have ran. You are getting screwed either way atleast you might have had a shance. I feel like a little B for talking about my 58 in a 45 earlier this week.
Not a good idea.  Would've added felony evading to the list of charges.

Have yet to get a ticket on mine. Only been pulled over once for not having a a plate. Told him it was under the hump, so he let me go without anything.

the only other ticket ive gotin EVER is a 73 in a 55 back about 2 years ago in a car , not a bike . i paid the fine ($300) no big deal since i had a job back then . and another thing ..........

Justin, Sorry for your situation. Nobody buys these bikes to go slow. You did what everyone else does, just not in a good spot obviously. I would agree about getting a lawyer. You will need one. Hope you can find a way to keep the bike. Find different roads in the middle of nowhere to have your fun. Its much safer in many ways...and cheaper too.

well im not sure im following you guys completly on askin how much for the bike
rock.gif
im not selling it and if i was to do so it would be for what its worth minus the cost of impound .
and to everyone els, thanks for the sympathy . the more i think about the whole deal the more it makes me wanna throw up and **** my pants at the same time . i just hope somehow the cop doesint show in court ther for i would win ......... am i rite

Bro... You could hang onto the Busa and just exercise some restraint in the future to ride another day. One day you'll brag about this little event to your buddies and grandkids.

Personally I'd rather be busted doing 180mph in a 65 for the future bragging rights.

got a ticket for in excess of 100mph . (clocked me at 105) when really i was just slowing down from hittin 150 ! also i have a permit and was driving at night , so he hit me for that also and they impounded my baby .....
cursin.gif
.
not sure how much it will be to get it out and definatly not looking forward to court and how much the ticket will be ...
crazy.gif
. the way i see it ill be screwed in the ass by the court and end up givin alota money to the city for this .  damit ! why does the bike goo soOoOoOoOoOo f**kin fast and the speed limits are soo low
rock.gif
?   anyone els got an outstanding ticket for going over 100 plus ?? i know this is hayabusa.org and not honda trail 90 .org so you guys should have some good stories on getting it stuck to ya by "the man"

if you didn't even go to jail you are extremely lucky.

my 1st jail experience (on a bike) i was flyin along a 2 lane road, had been for like 3 or 4 miles.
didn't make a stop sign (i was young and inexperienced) soon after that a cop pulls up next to me with his gun pointed at me. then he runs me into the ditch. he had been chasin me for a while, i never even knew it with the lid on. went to court and beat the fleeing rap.

last time, i stood er up on the seawall in galveston (which i've donr prolly 100x) and proceeded to work.
little did i know, a cop had seen me and pulled out after me, but she caused a wreck and stayed there, but radioed ahead.
another cop saw me at work and held me for her and i got a wreckless driving rap. there was another little charge i wont go into now
sadnews.gif

but i went before the da, told him to just jail me, i'm broke.
he gave me an option to drop 1 of the 2 charges

i chose to drop the wreckless, to keep my clean driving record

i agree with you about all of us have done it here and there and some times we get lucky and don't get caught but i learned to do it in area that that i am at least 90% sure ther are no cops and avoid higways and busy area. i get alot of chances to do it but i think of consequences if i get caught, so maybe that is why it keeps me out of trouble.

the last ticket i got was 2 years ago on my zx14 for missing inspection sticker!! now that sucks

Whens your court date? Also if anyone cares everytime you move to a state you can get a squeaky clean driving record with your new state license.

Sorry to hear Bro... It is going to cost you $$$ no matter what, so figure out a way to hire a lawyer if it is at all possible.. Go to a site called www.traffick-ticketattorney.com and read up on some free advice he gives. You can also do a "Written Declaration" on your own if you can't pay for an attorney, the step by step instructions and forms (Free) are right on his site.. The lawyer's name is Sherman Ellison, and this is his specialty... (He is in L.A.)

Good Luck Man, and PM me if you have any questions. I will help all I can...

Just remember, Gandalf sleeps naked... that's what I tell myself when I feel like really riding like an idiot.... why would I say such a thing?, you ask... When I was in jail, I woke up and rolled over to see the guy in the bunk next to mine in rare form.. he looked like the character from the book and movies. So, all you speed freaks out there who like to stunt on public roads.... remember, Gandalf sleeps naked.
