busa got IMPOUNDED !!!!!

i really have no priors on any motorcycle ...... the ONLY speeding ticket ive ever got was for 75 in a 55 and it was 2years ago and i paid the fine in full .   so i hope the fact that i dont have any outragious sh*t on my record will help me .

14,800 miles , clean NON salvaged title in my name ,tagged till jan.09 , back tire like new , front needs to be replaced but i will throw in a good spare , never wrecked , slow fall in garage and only 1 dime sized dent and a few scuffs to show for it . the engine/trans clean enough to eat off of ! runs like...... well a Suzuki of corse !!!!!! starts every time rain or shine with or without the choke ! purrs like new !!!!!!
things it will need - new cush drive for back sproket , about due for oil change and air filter change . very nice bike . never left me stranded and the only race it ever lost was to an AmA spec. 2007 kawi 1000 with a p.p.g and lots of dyno time!!!! and my all stock '05 busa was a close 2nd !!!

You know I felt a little sorry for you until I read this part. Just because someone owns a Busa doesn't mean they are a speeding, crazy driver. I will tell you this...My wife rides a Busa....and the #1 reason she wanted that bike is "it is the sexiest bike ever" SO before you go and call out every person who has never gone 150 on their Busa...think before you speak.


But I guess with only 44 posts you haven't gotten to know most of the members here...we aren't all like you.

You will be lucky if you get your bike back.

IF you get an lawyer you MIGHT get your bike back and you MIGHT not go to jail.

Otherwise if you don't get a lawyer I would plan on both.

lawyers can do ALOT more than you. some defensive driving classes is all I got for drag racing my car when I was a teen and didnt get any pts either. without a lawyer I'd been screwed

I'm not sayin that I haven't sped....but when you start making assumptions about why we bought our bike....and then call some of us "posers"....plus you "wanted to see what everyone else would say"....Over this past weekend at the Meet N Greet they met with officers from 4 states to see what could be done to reduce motorcycle accidents...YOu must have known what the people here would say when yousaid you got a ticket for going as fast as you were....you think we were going to throw you a party and pat you on the back?.....wrong place for people like that to hang out...

especially when yo sitting on a space shuttle. Most of us on here have been in the big numbers very few have been caught. I cannot chastise you for what I have done more

Just a thought?  How do you pay for insurance without a job?

I know exactly where you are talking about there in Modesto.  My oldest son was born there at Doctors Med 15 years ago.  

  But even back then I wouldn't pull the trigger coming out of town like that.  You should know better than most that they will be waiting for you.

As far as the job goes

 I know that actually HAVING a job helped me get out of my last ticket.  Fines and fees were going to be $400 plus 2 points.

When I showed up for court I was last in line.  Every other person (about 8) stood before the judge with the same demeanor as if they were hanging out at the Walmart.  I laughed 'cuz one guy even held a spit cup while talking to the judge!

When it was my turn I went and stood before the bench and listened as the prosicutor read off the charges.  Speeding 85+ in a 45 (freeway exit into a slow zone

) Failure to stop and no turn signal.  The judge asked where I worked at.  My job was obvious because I was in my work clothes.

I told him that I was a trainer at FT Polk LA preparing soldiers to go to Iraq.  I was assigned there upon returning from my last tour in Iraq.  Not only that, I would be returning to Iraq as soon as the assignment was over.

I then apologized for my actions and told him that I would behave

 myself in the future.
He dismissed all of it

 and I walked out.

So,  

 get a job  

 and it might help you out.
And if you like thrills and adrenaline...

Try outrunning a 400lbs HME roadside bomb set with a motion detector trigger  

Hopefully you will live long enough to claim more from life than "driving the ultimate mullet car"

I am on the Diamond Back side if this sh*t hole.  The chow is pretty good.  We only spend about a third of our time here.  The rest of the time we are living down town with the Iraqi Army.  If you know Mosul we are near Hotel Mosul, bridge five.

Lots of good stuff going on here.  Attacks are way down.

I am here until next Feb.  This is the last one for me.  I've been doing this since 1984.  It's time to let younger men do this job.
