Bingo and I completely agree!I think the point tuco and 01 are making is if they redesigned the motor, it would be a new base to start with, with more potential. Engine characteristics change based on how you get your cc number. Busa is limited, after a certain point u have to stroke them (more money, less reliable) to keep going bigger. Change the bore space and you can get to 1500cc Or bigger with a piston change only.
But really That only benefits a small niche of people that are already supported by huge aftermarket options so I’d bet it wasn’t worth the roi to design a whole new engine.
I think they should’ve added a turbo to it. New Electronics can support that, and it’ll rule the dyno wars.
IMO the gen2 even looks better but that's just my opinion.
I thought that initially also but after having them both here side by side and comparing them over and over for the last year and a half, I much prefer the Gen-3...100%
And I thought I was the only one who thought that.
I think the gen2 is the better visually balanced.
To me, the gen3 is to front heavy, visually. It’s all bulk at the front and the tail just doesn’t balance out.
But that’s my opinion
We do what we can lolWoop! This thread exploded. Taking from a street setup that's excluding lowering and stretching the bike my gen1 had 300hp via turbo and she was hella hard to keep the wheel down in the first 3 gears. I would be happy with NA 250hp range as far as having a boss that can turn and stop correctly when needed. I will have to let time continue with the development goes with the gen3. I don't want to loose ABS as it already saved my ass so if we get any form of aftermarket ECU support I want ABS and QS for damn sure.
It’s less than that considering inflation and the DA politician’s policies.Ya the price hikes is not just adding some new tech but the failure of the currency and trading taxes. I'm sorry I paid 10k for my 2005 Busa and 17k for my 2022. Am I happy to have all the goodies? Yes, is it worth an additional 7k? No....
sorry my mistake.thanks for the correct information. You have that backwards. The Hayabusa is a twin-beam frame, the ZX14 is a monocoque. Try changing a battery on a ZX14 some time and you'll know that Suzuki's traditional design is better.
Meh boring, glorified Gen 2 ha.Who talks about been the same is because they havent ride one i invite you to go and test drive one you will be amazed with all the new features the bike has that a Gen 2 doesnt.
