Gen 3 Latest report ..

Its been 190hp at crank from the get go Gen 3 for the win!!! They do that for euro 5...shhhhh don't tell anyone !

188 is good enough for me because after my mods 200 will be easy! Chris Moore just did a touch up tune and short stacks on gen 2 got 191rwhp with basic mods and he thinks bike should do 215mph since it did over 200mph in 5th gear.

Heres another few shots of the same bike. K-Factory built it. Full Ohlins etc.

Damn, that looks good...
I really like the fairing style of the new busa, but the flat lines from gas tank-front seat just look weird.
I haven't quite fallen for the upper profile look yet, (from the side). The lower sections look ace. But the upper side profile from tail to bars I haven't quite fallen for

Of all of the reviews from people that have ridden the bike I have yet to hear anyone say that bike was a letdown. I didn't keep track but if I recall correctly almost all of them mentioned the quickness the bike has in the mid range (Where most riders would use it daily). Has anyone read or seen a review of anyone that has actually ridden the bike that has thought the bike was not a step up and in the right direction?

Everyone seems to like it so far...

A few reviewers have mentioned it isn't a great power gain over the gen 2 but they were happy with it and said most people wouldn't even notice.

What's not to like....it's a Hayabusa....

I feel the same way Cap, it will be another hit.

Many of us are picking up our Gen-3's in Oklahoma, are you still in the area?

These guys just don't give a fudge and take busa s10000rr and h2 off road and in the mud...good to know I can off road on my gen 3 lol

Yes sir! I will never leave here... Oklahoma is a great way of life... Minus the tornado's, large hail, extreme cold, flat riding area, unbelievably hot summer days and distance from some of the best people I've ever met..

Did it show 188 hp?

If so it's either a very generous dyno or Suzuki was deliberately giving low power figures...unless the figures they gave out were RWHP...and if that's so, the people reporting on the bike were unaware as they were all saying on paper it's down on power...

The dyno number in this video is a well modified gen 2 rwhp number..
it's not a generous dyno - My finnish busa friend knows the shop

The stock gen 2 puts out around 172 rwhp, that's been documented quite a few times on many dynos....

If this dyno is saying a bone stock gen 2 is putting out over 180hp, that's hard to explain...

Not to mention the gen 3 appears to be putting out it's bhp as rwhp....all the spec sheets say the gen 3 is 188bhp..

I guess it will be proven over many other dynos what the bike actually makes, I certainly can't see Suzuki underpinning the hp figures as they know this is a big selling point of the bike.
