Gen 3 Latest report ..

Finally the Gen3 has been launched in INDIA.... when it wiill hit the showroom is unclear but the pricing has been revealed and its slightly expensive than Gen2 which seems justified seeing the changes they have done. Suzuki india has certainly hit the sweet spot as far as pricing is concerned. Truly Well done Suzuki..!!!! Worth every penny...!!

Joe loves the gen 3...lol
Yes @JoeSTi seems less than impressed....but he has good points...

It makes sense to give people the maximum power in the area where they use it....the mid range. Who really needs a huge top end rush unless the bike is on the race track.

For people who want to tune that out of it, I think it will be a costly venture, probably have to change out the cams and do something with the throttle bodies.

I watched a video on that...they said it is basically the old model with a few changes and an electronic suite added...

Suzuki seems to be happy doing this. Why reinvent the entre platform when the current one works so well?

Yep joe doesn't know if you really wanted one 16k or 17k was easily had in here from alot of guys getting gen 3 some people just don't want it bad enough.... but yes 20k for stock busa hard pass for me.

Depends what you consider costly. Most spend $3-5k on any bike right out of the gate for basic mods. It’s still the best bargain going and highly supported in the aftermarket for not crazy money. Price out a V4R or Superleggera or M1000RR and those mods. Even Honda’s top offering is $28,500...

I was thinking if a person had to change out the cams or throttle bodies due to their being set up for mid range....with the engine changes I'm not sure a set of gen 2 cams would work and the throttle bodies probably won't either..

I'm not sure if changing out the exhaust and tuning the ECU will move the power band toward the upper range..??? It might but just not certain.
