Here you go boys the time has come gen 2 vs gen 3 smackdown straight from Suzuki... Gen 3 for the win ! So close I can smell the rubber...
Between the launch controls and quick shifter it SHOULD be better in the drag scenario....I would have expected more of a gap...

Another review for ya.... starting to see 2022 instead of 2021 lol
I never knew any generation which was at home on a road track without lots of modifications.

Being on a road track was never the best feature of a Hayabusa in my opinion. The drag strip and street riding has always been it's forte...both of these the gen 3 should excel at.

Suzuki is smart by showing it at the track... going in a straight line and drag strip is a given but now she's built to be more agile and fun in the twisties which the gen 2 was not in my opinion and I'm a big dude could only imagine moving her from side to side being under 200lbs and under 6 foot for long periods and in order to be a great bike nowadays you can't just go in a straight line fast anyone can do that and it's not practical...props to you suzuki.

Yes but ask those how easy it is to maneuver at low speeds let alone if your a smaller guy ... they just laugh and the realest loyal fan buys new gen sight unseen for 20k or more and still being a 1340...salute! Some have to drive or fly through 5 states or more to bring her home lol

But Suzuki who actually make the bike has stated the statistics between both?.
That's true but possibly to 3 different criteria when testing and it wouldn't be the 1st time a Japanese manufacturer has under quoted figures.
Nissan GTR for example... Initially they said something like 480hp and when tested around the world some produced 550- 600 which they later quoted for alleged updated engines.
The Gen 3 if rev'd out does feel less eager to hit the limiter in higher gears but that could also be the ecm holding back til the 1st service is done but that's a total guess.

Bottom line for me is.... I LOVE the Gen3 model.
Leant it to a neighbour for an hour... He has an old Honda Fireblade, and a KTM 1290 adv as well as a 950 SM and the first thing he asked when he got back was how do I have a license... Couldn't believe the way the bike just pulls in any gear to ridiculous speeds.
His KTM is about 160hp and 140nm torque yet he reckons the Busa could gap his bike 2 gears up.

You leant out your gen 3 for an hour man your too nice brother no way in hell another man's ass is riding my new 20k bike let alone 1hr without riding next to him on his 20k bike hopefully you have insurance on that puppy lol
