Yessir my 04 zx-10r was a beast but rather be on a Cadillac...I've owned 4 Cadillac's so maybe I'm bias lol
Yes... Cadillacs are real nice. I picked up a 2008 STS all wheel drive from a friend... It only has the 3.6 VVT engine... however... I am still impressed by how nice it drives and the economy of 26 mpg when I am not pushing it. Since last August I have replaced the MAF and the front axels... other that that... nice riding car... tight and quiet.
Always been a GM guy and Cadillac always has a place in my heart the ride is like a magic carpet I've had my real estate license since 18 so had to get a Cadillac to look the part to take clients around then got the truck to work on fixer uppers and really miss my v series with the vette engine but I like having a truck I use my bed all the time and I just bought a boat so need one to pull it I always wanted the XLR convertible they are pretty cheap now but can't go wrong with a caddy until it hits 100k then time to sell lol
Ha! I bought mine with 104K on it... still drives like new... I really like that magnetic ride system on the front axel.

My buddy I bought the STS from is just completing a XLR. He bought a base model for 12k in nice shape... then he built a Supercharged Northstar and spliced it all together. A little time consuming to get all the wire configured since some changes in the harness were required to make everything operational. He is retired so he has time to sort these kind of mysteries out. Watching his build with this CTS V makes me want one

He wishes he had gone with the LS engine now... but... too late now. I told him those 235s on the back don't stand a chance with over 500 hp on tap. lol !

My wife and I are also realtors... however... we seldom have clients in the car... we usually meet them at the property if they are buyers.

I found a couple of CTS V... XLRs at the Mc Cormmick auction in Palm Springs... still wanting like 35 to 40k for them...

Yeah I was talking about when I was 18 so 10 years ago yeah now not happening lol... you can find some steals on cadillacs with 100k just saying you will have to buy some parts and some are pricey but well worth it I will get a XLR-V down the road for under 20k I drove one that hard top drop top so nice what a ride can't beat magnetic ride suspension...

If we crunch the numbers for a second...the numbers we are seeing seem flawed.

Suzuki says the bike is 188bhp Suzuki said the gen 2 is 194bhp, I can't see Suzuki fudging these numbers, they are what they are....

This video says the bone stock gen 3 puts out 175rwhp. whereas the gen 2 with more bhp put out 173rwhp???

The bike needs to get on a known, proven and trusted dyno such as @ChrisMooreMafia or @Boosted Cycle Perf for the real numbers to be populated.

I'm not a rocket scientist but I'd say this dyno is out by a fair bit.
Suzuki said themself that the g3 makes 10hp less then the g2.

Many dynos have showed its more like a few hp and with more mid range now gen 3 feels faster in the mid range which is where almost everyone rides it anyway and people have reported getting near 200 miles a tank so not no 130 mile range...wait till ecu is unlocked! No way in hell gen 2 outperforms gen 3 with 13 years to perfect it.

We need details... what's your thoughts on gen 3 vs zx-14r ?
Need to ride more to do a proper comparison. Planning on doing a video about it.

But the Hayabusa is certainly sportier in the position, more leaned forward and I think slightly narrower handlebars. It's just as roomy as the zx14r, move up in town and slide back and tuck in on the open road is a delight. The suspension is superior on the Hayabusa, although I did have the normal version of the Kawasaki without the öhlins. Hayabusa feels much lighter and is easier to turn in the corners and overall handling is better.

I know the big question is power. And I'm afraid it's too early for me to say anything about that. Still breaking it in and I don't want to discuss how that's supposed to be done or not done. All I can say for now is it's absolutely not lacking in power in any way as far as I'm concerned.

Good to hear I figured as much...nice to know too that it feels lighter and easier to turn then the 14 because I felt the zx-14r felt lighter and easier to turn then the gen 2 busa but my gen 2 was a 08 and my zx14r was a 16 so that could play into it as well so that's awsome... let us know how many miles you get out of a tank since everyone is breaking ballz when it comes to that... sounds like you like the busa more besides the riding position but we all know that the 14 is better in that category glad to hear your thoughts keep em coming.... but once you add gel seat bar risers and lower the pegs it's pretty close imo did it to both my busas and zx-14s and will be the first thing I do to the gen 3.

Yep unfortunately that's been my experience with GM products as well....fast and flashy in the short term, but don't plan on keeping them long because they start to fall apart pretty quick :(

I actually like that it's more sporty and aggressive than zx14r. It's exactly what I'm after, and it's at that perfect spot for me where it's aggressive and comfortable at the same time. I'm short though, only 5 ft 9.

I'm not riding as usually do as I'm breaking it in still. But I am keeping track of fuel consumption. I'll report back when I've gone through a few tanks worth.

How's that quickshifter and braking? Some say it even has a whistle sound like a supercharger and is like a magic carpet ride also does it feel like it cuts through the air better and not as much wind noise as the 14...

I also noticed led red light near ignition switch do you know what that's for ? Would be nice if it was for security alarm...maybe its when handle bars are locked.

Everyone I know says the same thing....

A friend of our family who has been a GM guy ever since he learned to drive in the early '60s recently bought a new Silverado, it is a drop dead gorgeous truck but has given him nothing but trouble since he drove it home from the dealership-so much so he had the "lemon law" enacted and got another truck...

He's had it 3 months now and it has just started giving him trouble...he's one of those old school farmers who is built like a gorilla....I can only imagine the dealership people's thoughts when he comes stomping in there...I know I sure wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of his wrath....
