Gen 3 Performance

I'm very sorry to hear that. Divorce is tough, a true test for all involved. Having to rebuild your life is a b**** and an opportunity at the same time, I wish it'll turn out for you the way is suits you best.
Thank you sir!
I appreciate the kind words

Good luck my enemy/friend (haha)! I just sold the Condo my wife and I bought when we first got married. The process was pretty simple and we got 4-5 offers with 2 weeks on the market. That means I could get a Gen 3 and transfer my Ohlins and maybe GP4's over then sell the Gen 2 for what I can get. But I'm not sure I want to scrap the paint job. Also interested in the stealth supercharger too. If I could do that for say $10K I might jump on it.

Anyway, at least you have options, divorce is a Bit#$5h! You are lucky you have no debt and she's not having the courts make you support her! Hang in there you'll be straddling a Gen 3 soon. Funny but the cost of real estate may be going up but the cost of a Busa will be going down!
Thanks Arch! lol
and go for the gen3!

Whenever I land in a new house.
I've got the funds, but life is upside down right now.
Our house is sold, closing at end of the month. Wife wanted a divorce after 14+ years and nearly 19 together(no cheating or abuse, just her own issues).
She already bought a house and closes the same day.
I let a house I was looking at slip away, and have been searching ever since, the market is crazy here right now.
I can't find anything with what I want and need.
Most of my things are in a building at my parents house, and they're going to let me live with them until I find a house.
However long it takes, so I'm not blowing money on rent. I have a 4wheeler and a dual sport to go in their building as well, and am putting some furniture in a friend's basement.
I have no room for another bike anywhere at the moment.
I also am fortunate to have no debt.
So, I could go get a Busa today, several dealers within 2-4 hours of me have black ones, local dealer only has silver(I want black), but I have a few things that have to come first.
I'm happy because the gen3 is so comfortable to me, much to my suprise...so it's the light at the end of the tunnel for me.
Within a couple of months I hope.

Yep!
Maybe a date on rare occasion at some point...but I don't know either, lol
Thanks man.

Now, I just have "fiances" lol..get ALL the milk, and dont have to buy the cow ;)

Starting over most times is good for you, makes u get ur sh*t together again, and ya usually end up better

How are you all breaking in your bikes. Stolen or factory? Is the oil from the factory Dino or synth?
Stolen
But have watched several tests with engines broken in both ways, torn down, measured, and no difference found.
I personally trailer them home, dump the oil, and put in Amsoil break-in oil for a couple hundred miles of varying the rpms, up and down, never cruising or holding any rpm for any amount of time.
I'll run it up near redline, let it engine brake down near idle and repeat.
I usually ride it 20-30 miles, let it cool, and do it again.
After a couple hundred, oil and filter change to Amsoil.
But that's ME...there's only a few hundred opinions on the right way to do it.

Get the rings expanded at all opportunities, suck the lands clean with the hard decelerations, and repeat.

Tomorrow its going to be a detail day for her since sunday will be the fun day
