Gen 3 Performance

Is it me or did the Gen2 hook up better? I thought with the wheelie and traction control Gen3 would have had the advantage there.
I think Toad said no launch controls were used with the gen 3 so maybe wheelie and traction were off too.

I personally think the rider would make the difference between the two bikes more than the electronics. There just isn't that much of a performance gap between the two.

Gen 3 in 1/4 mile with Moore Mafia

Gen3 got no rear brake and rotor , 1 front rotor missing and caliper , no ecu flash / tune but running MR12 fuel , titanium CT pipe . He compares his 2016 ZX14R Super Stock , which has ecu tune and MR12 fuel , but features full rear brake and rotor and two front rotors and 2 calipers , and steel pipe . Both strapped lowered .
The Gen 2 vs Gen 3 Advert , I do not know if it had traction control / wheelie control on . The general consensus is the Gen 3 should by rights beat the Gen 2 off the line to say 1/8 track , with the Gen 2 coming back and beating the Gen 3 at the 1/4 mile and beyond . As sarge says , it is mostly going to come down to riders skill , every time with racing bikes so close in standard form . We going to see some Gen 3 come out on top as fastest or quickest Busa types in most race forms eventually , imho .

It would, but Suzuki is still a top competitor, especially considering that Suzuki is by far the smallest of the Big 4 Japanese bikes.
Where as Kawaski is a Huge company, with their powersports line being only a small fraction of what else they make.
Granted, each division has it's own budget, but Kawasaki could run the powersports with zero profit if need be, I'de imagine Honda could too.
Yamaha's instrument sales alone could probably carry their powersports division.
And Suzuki, well...their cars aren't saving them...so we all need to stay loyal.
lol

Well moore mafia has R&D out for the velocity stacks if I recall from one of his videos working with one of his vendors. Hopefully the ECU is hacked quicker then previous generations what really holds us all back. I currently have $2,500+ wrapped up in Parts waiting to ship which really sucks.

Yeah, 3-D printed velocity stacks.
Cool stuff, and these are partially open where stock are not('18 gsxr1000r).
Makes a few hp on paper, or moves it around in the rpms.
I put these on for my friend who was recommended these by MooreMafia, who flashed and dyno'd it too.
Carbon Smith makes them.

I just did some light reading regarding Suzuki Motor Corp....it seems Toyota has a decent sized share (4.9%) in Suzuki.

Suzuki made a pile of outboard boat motors and snowmobile and ATV motors...

They even make wheelchairs for us old motorcyclists who need them in our old age...imagine a Hayabusa wheelchair...

These ones look pretty short, I wonder if they will have them in various sizes?

They are continuously looking for improvements.
He bought those stacks in March.
A few months later they updated the design.
Old claimed 4hp, new claimed 6.
Regardless, being able to 3-D print vs making a mold saves so much time and money.
That gives these new stacks alot more potential.
