I didn't see the part about the brother disagreeing or I would not have mentioned it at all. I didn't see the whole thing, just a minute or two.I went and found the CNN version. You sort of left out some parts of the CNN version.
CNN did say the grandson said he thought it was racially motivated.
CNN also stated that his older brother disagrees. That part is kind of relevant too don't you think?
So this serves no sense of direction towards racism if two equal family members disagree about it.
Now we have another part that you may not find relevant in your summary.
The grandson did say his political views differed from his grandfathers dramatically. And that he and his grandad had lost touch for years. He did manage to throw in a BLM statement.
