Looks like a war is looming in Israel

I did some downsizing a year or so ago. I came across some .22 ammo. 2,000 rounds. Unopened. It was my dad's. I don't own a .22 so I figured I'll sell them.

At that time there was a shortage of ammo. Including .22. There was a reason for the shortage, I just can't recall it.

So I posted it up on Craigslist. $25 a box. Posted a pic of it. Figuring I'd be haggled down by 50%. I had like 10 responses within minutes. So I answered the first response. Went through the whole verification safety stuff.

He says I'll take it all. Never even tried to haggle.

I'm like, this has to be a scam. Wasn't going to let him know where I live.

He says I'll meet you in the Walmart parking lot. We set a time. Dude counts out $500 like it was nothing.

I felt like a drug dealer in that moment.

I had no idea how valuable ammo could be.

We are spoilt here in the States, I have a private shooting range here on my property, don’t need a permit, permission, or anything. Can blast away at leisure whenever I want to. As long as no one gets shot, all is good.:-)

You can see a small berm right in the back behind the fire pit, and there is nothing but 15,000 acres of woods behind me.

I had a friend who owned a large farm and we built a shooting range on it complete with a pseudo contract from the local wrecking yard who would drop off cars once in a while so we could shoot them....it was great.....

He ended up getting divorced and sold the farm.....end of our private shooting gallery...

Now vacant land is so expensive around here it has sadly become out of my financial reach.

Years ago a friend of mine and I met in a parking lot and he asked me if I wanted to see something in the back of his truck..

When he lifted the gate on the cap, it was full of ammo boxes and reloaders....one of his neighbors who is an elderly widow decided to give it all to him for all the help he has given her over the years....

He honestly didn't even know how many rounds he had in there but he did know he had around 5000 rounds of 9mm and he didn't own one so he went out and bought one...

He had cases of all the stuff needed to reload many rounds......

Sounds fun, we got cars dropped off at a range in Arkansas way back. Was cool to see what a bullet does going into a car. Sometimes I would question if some of those cars could be restored.

Many ranges we used in my former profession had many different vehicles on them so we could train on where to hit them for maximum effectiveness...

We blew quite a few up with various ordinance as well....

Getting to do it as a civilian was lots of fun too, we would sometimes use Tannerite for real effect...

I think Abbott is over reaching his authority. I also think they need to lock down the border. Of course there's a plan to do that but trump is forcing his toadies to vote against it. Not letting Biden have a win is more important than border security to him.

It’s sad that your last line is probably true. It’s politics at our peril. I would just mention that the democrats on a daily basis for four years did everything they could to stop trump from getting a ‘win’.
ALL of them are fargin icehole bastidges!

I’m with you on guns. They don’t interest me but I know it’s not guns that are the problem. I don’t think you need to worry; I believe the 2nd is safe.
Trump is severely lacking in honorable character and Biden needs to retire and sit in front of a fire.

Guns are a tool, can be used for good or evil. It's all up to us which one.
 
So now we have 3 Americans killed and more than 30 injured.

All with Iranian resources, and munitions.

And Biden is playing tit for tat.

We have to route shipping around the Cape, to avoid vessels being targeted. You and I are paying the price for that in $$.

Sorry to say, but this Administration are a bunch of p$&$ssies.

In the mean time Biden is trying to prevent Texas from securing their borders and the public, a bunch of truckers, are saying enough is enough, and they are going down to help with stopping the invasion.

Hi. No I think it is Obama running the show. I do not think Biden could run an HO train set. I am more affaid of how much money that Hunter and Joe from Russia than Trump made from his hotells. Did not Trump kill some Russian troops in some where in the middle east? So I am not affaid of Trump and Putin. I am more affaid of Biden and Putin. But then again I hope I am wrong. I just wonder what Ukraine has on Biden and Hunter? I am also affraid of what is comming over the border. OH what border.
