Looks like a war is looming in Israel

Well then... its settled... most people here know more about the motivations of the MIC than Eisenhower and Butler did.

I have asked this question for years... what process creates more revenue than wars and the rebuilding of what was destroyed in the aftermath of wars?

The human price is simply considered the collateral damage that inevitibly happens every time. To take it one step further you should hear what former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said about men that volunteer for military duty... it's shameful.... You would think that mankind is smart enough to figure out that wars create mass casualties that should never happen. Those lives lost that could have gone on to evolve humanity in ways that create lasting value for those that come during and after their time has passed. Or, unrealized potential as it is known.

We are already about a 100 years behind the tech curve that we see going on now. So... men with big ego's have figured out how to stifle man's progress as we plod along from one war to the next. Book titles like War and Peace come to mind that illuminates mans inhumanity to other men.

You say nobody forgets the human price that is paid? That couldn't be farther from the truth in the examples of people that run the world's governments. Prime example... Biden opens the border to people from other countries that have no plans of assimilation, don't care what America stands for, will not go back to where they came from when ordered to deport themselves, and in fact will scam, loot, murder and cause other social issues like bringing children here that have nothing. Who knows where about 85,000 of them are right now?

Just think... if Kamala is installed then we get 4 more years of a really F$%Ked up method of lawless governing.

Plus... we will get more "word salads" of incoherence being practiced in front of a podium.

So... are my words contaminating?
You who have never served in uniform nor have ever bore arms for your country really need to spend a little more time around those who have......

Nobody wants to go to war but there are evils in this world that would kill you and your family in your sleep in a heartbeat and do unconscionable things to you in the meantime......people go to war to stop this evil.....

You have no clue as to what "tech curve" we are in and even though I was privy to much of it, there was a vast majority of new tech that was in the experimental stage that we weren't privy to which is being adapted now........that tech is never exported.

....and people in uniform fight for their families and brothers and sisters in arms.......and their sacrifices are NOT in vain.....this is why we have Memorial/Remembrance Day...I suggest you get out on these days and do your part to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice instead of typing this drivel on here.....

You blather on and on and on about the southern border....do you realize that is has never been under control and was in a state of fluidity for hundreds of years?

Netanyahu has ignored any counsel from Biden for months and does as he pleases.
I really don’t blame him for that, especially after his attack plan on Iran was leaked. (Not called leadership)

The U.S. helped fend off an attack from Iran (read: leadership);
Gen Michael Erik Kurilla is providing that leadership in close cooperation with Yoav Gallant from Israel. Austin is at arms length. I doubt Biden or Kamala knows what is happening most of the time.

What about Iran, an endeavor to at least meet and attempts at discussion? What about trying to get Iran back where they were in 2020?

I doubt Biden or Kamala knows what is happening most of the time.
You don’t like them. Likewise I rarely think Trump has anyone else’s back. Not worth discussing. I believe only Netanyahu can ease tension with Iran and that other involvement will only feed resentment. That’s my take and no, I’m not sure of it.

Just sayin:

A "reaction?"

It was an outright terroristic act......not a reaction.....

Hamas are a terror organization.......I certainly hope you aren't condoning or supporting such an organization.......

You obviously haven't personally witnessed what these terrorists do to people......after you do, all these thoughts of supporting terrorists will quickly leave your mind and the desire to jump in with the IDF will be more and more appealing.....
A reaction, a retaliation no different than what Israel just did in the form of missile strikes. Tit for tat. Been going on for centuries between them. Oct 7 did not just 'happen'.
Are you one of the people who expect the Palestinians to just keep taking 'it' and never respond or try to rise up? Israel has American supplied WAR PLANES and those people used hang gliders. Bahahah. And they are worse. I'm sooo GD tired of one side being portrayed worse than the other.

Go back

Study the history that I've posted here and then ask yourself again why Oct7 happened.

And to those who will once again jump in and twist that as support for it it is NOT. It is simply putting the 'why' into context.

I’m just curious why 20% of the Israeli’s are Arabic, who decided to move beyond those wars, similar to the experiences in many other countries who once had war. And why they became Israelis, living peacefully among their Jewish associates.

Why did they decide that their covenant is not to remove all Jews from the land, but rather live in peace as neighbors among the Jews?

For the rational, critical thinker that you propose yourself to be, how can you not know the answer? You thought all Arabs hate Jews and visa versa? Don't tell us; that tidbit is because of your vast travels, correct?
That's got emotion and something else written all over it.

No you are wrong. The previous administration actually, your favorite, Trump, secured a historic deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates to advance peace and prosperity in the region. Many places where Arabs and Jews get along. Trump had further plans with the Abraham Accords, but then came along your two heroes, Kamala and Biden and now we have wars all over the Middle East. You think like they do, so congratulations, well done!!!

The question was actually addressed to Blanca, not to you, as your sarcasm is so predictable.

I believe he can answer that better than you and me.

There are two versions about the displacement in 1948, history is contradictory to us Western folks.

While serving is honorable on it face and I am grateful for the protection it provides. Consider what putting on a uniform meant when I was draft age. I could have been one of the 58,000+ dead or the 200,000+ wounded in a war based on a lie. The reason for the Vietnam war completely falls apart because it was escalated with false information ( Gulf of Tonkin ) that was portrayed in the MSM as a serious attack on an American ship. FOIA now tells us Mc Namera told LBJ a falsehood.... are lies worth going halfway around the world to shoot at human targets and get shot at? How about fighting for a piece of real estate and then letting it go back to the VC only to be ordered to take it again the next day? Another rule that defied logic. When the VC cross the Ho Chi Mein trail you can't shoot at them even though they have been shooting at you. This fighting a war with one hand tied behind your back was like a game that could only be called a fatal attraction.
This is when the term "fragging" was born.
My draft number was 108... 1 - 95 was recinded in 1973.

I rode last Vetran's Day with thousands of other bikers and we all met up in Riverside California at the Harley dealer and rode to the Lake Elsinore baseball field where the minor league team called the Storm plays. So, I donated and showed my respect as anybody would that values living in America.
The current administration has failed Americans and many of it's allies. It's time for the politics of failure to end. When an administration opens the border, changes the immigration rules and emboldens drug cartels to make 100s of millions smuggling people and drugs across our border it tells me which side they are on.

It will take considerable energy and resources to restore this country to an improved state of the union.

Another Trump photo op moment. The truth is 4 countries, not including Iran,
Iraq, or Saudi, 4 countries that already had a decent relationship with Israel, signed a pac. It did nothing to uphold peace in Gaza and Israel. Diplomatic relationships in the ME have come and gone over the decades. War does not get declared there, it is ongoing and has been. Look at it through your MAGA lens all you want, but no one, including Trump, has solved it. I’ll give the Orange One this; it was better than nothing.

The question was actually addressed to Blanca,
Your immature question doesn’t need an answer. It’s human nature to get along and prosper. It was your way of saying that Israelis are good people; which of course they are, and so are Arabs. It’s the leadership of both that continue to squabble like a ME version of the Hatfields and the Mccoys.

Stop it... I live in a sanctuary state... we know what happens around here. Border patrol presence is pretty obvious around here.
At least we know where you stand when it comes to laws and order.
That’s 100% BS. I lived in Los Angeles for 40 years and still have much contact there . As far as your last sentence , you don’t know shidt.

Here is a geography lesson for you, something you seem to have missed all along. There is a place where human habitation approaches 100,000 years, with a culture which will be insulted should you call them Arabs.

They are Persians, the modern day country is called Iran. If this is new to you, have a look at a map of the ME, you will find them there.

Your two hero’s dismantled the arrangements made, to contain their manipulation of the Arab population. They do this through what we call proxies. Kamala and Joe enabled them towards enabling Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthi’s. And now we have wars all over the ME.

Here is a credible linky for you, as it seemed to never have dawned on you, that the Arabs are just a means to a desired end. The Persians are the driving force behind what we see today.

Ever heard of a dude named Soleimani? You will find he was a big gear in this Persian gearbox, driving the Arabs. Again, see the linky, should your ego not prevent you from opening it. Eat your heart out, Trump took care of him as well.

Oct 7 was perpetrated by a terror organization (Hamas) it was not an organized peaceful protest by Palestinian folk who were tired of being "oppressed" even though the borders were basically open and many Israeli and Palestinian citizens crossed over to shop, celebrate festivals and work and all in harmony......Hamas was ever present striking here and there....

The "Palestinians" were being oppressed by the very people they put into power-Hamas.......I'll bet the 200,000+ Palestinians who lived in Israel were pretty happy living there where they were basically free....there were even Palestinians represented within Israeli government.

Hamas are terrorists-therefore they are the enemy...Palestinians aren't Hamas although there is a very close distinction between radicalized Palestinians and Hamas.....how does one differentiate between the two?

Fighting this sort of enemy in their own environment is a real challenge for any military....when you see a 10 yr old boy come out of a house pointing an RPG and know you have to take that kid out, that's when it gets real.......and the IDF are facing this on a daily basis....

How did you avoid the draft?

The war in Viet Nam was just.....South Vietnam was being invaded by North Viet Nam......very similar to what happened in Korea...

The issue in Viet Nam is the supporters....China and Russia and if the US escalated their presence, that war would have spread like a wild fire and could have been the start of WW3.....and the administration knew that......sad that they didn't react sooner but remember the US was still on a WW2 high where they rode in on a white horse and saved the day....

The term "fragging" came about by a severe lack of discipline where the leaders of a unit would get killed or injured from the introduction of a fragmentation grenade to their presence.....

Ask guys like @michael parris heuberger what he thought about fighting in Viet Nam...soldiers fight for each other, not politicians......when soldiers start to pick and choose where and when they fight.....why have a military at all?

As for the border.......one must ask why the large influx of people started flowing in....nobody in their right mind are able to say the current administration is attracting more people to come to the border........the issues of the world are probably the biggest driving force and I don't think it would matter who was sitting in the seat-the numbers would have spiked regardless.

I do agree that there needs to be a robust southern border to protect the US......Mexico is a heartbeat away from being a failed state...IMO

There are many components to this, without going into a lot of detail, let’s start with one, which appeared as an open invitation.
