Every black person who voted in an election before Obama voted outside their race. BTW: all African Americans are racial mixes. We are all half this and half that, seriously.
so if we're all the same, then today has no significance?
You can't play both sides here. If we're pretending the box you check next to race? matters then, "black" people must all be liberal. Iirc it was 95+ % male and 99% female for african american. Thats some type of color blind, I think they cant even see shades of gray. Wonder where the majority of african americans live? Large urban cities? Large electoral college? Yes today proves while everyone cries for equality nobody is working toward it. We allow trivial issues to drive a wedge between us. Just like the one being hammered in between social classes. Isn't there a saying about united we stand?
Dude! I grew up listening to Jimi hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, then go way back, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, da blues. My dad was in a Rock band in the 60's and there was and is all types of rock and blues 45s and LPs in the house to listen to!
Nah it aint a new thing! And little by little cultures mixed through music.
But Gangsta rap changed young white America like nothing before. It tore down ALOT of racial barriers!
No sane person can deny that.
Who said we're all the same? We are frankly very different. But different peoples can come together to build a great nation, that is in fact what this country is all about. There is a reason why black people live where they do and most of those are racism. In case you haven't noticed the country is coming together. Look at who voted for Obama, it's every racial and gender group but you.

Im not mad about anything. Everyone here is entitled to feel anyway they feel. I'm not going to try to sway any opinions. It just makes me laugh whenI see black in quotations. He is a black man. There are no quotations needed.

I don't, because if we're ever going to be a color blind country, stop using colors to define an athlete or the first (race) to win an Oscar or the first (race) to become a mayor. Anyway, the assumption has been that if Soetoro was found to be constitutionally ineligible, which he is because of his dual citizenship, black Americans would burn down the country. However, using the excuse of something that might happen cannot ever be an excuse to allow someone to usurp the office of President of these united States of America."
Obama is a "communist muslim"!? Oh my gawd, this is the most unaware, most uninformed statement I've read in quite a while. How anyone could parrot such a point of view, to me, lives only in the Fox/dittohead bubble. The current Republican party is so out of touch with the heartbeat of America, it is dying a slow and illogical death.
And as far as the rest of this strand? There's nothing worse than white guys pretending to know the depths of black culture, MLK's idiology and "where he would stand" re: President Obama. If it wasn't so absurd, it would be laughable.
