I am 16 days from atempting a central Indiana to Key West Florida trip that I hope to acomplish the first day to maximise the time I have in FL. This should be right at 1500 miles. I have my fingers crosed.

My Busa got stolen last July, and the '01 Gixxer that I replaced it with got stolen last Wednesday... I picked up a new '03 Gixxer yesterday, and it is ready for the 600 mile service now (odomoter shows 598).

I did just over 400 miles on it today, and I can hardly sit down...

FYI - it's a huge difference between the '01 and '03 Gix... And it was a tough decision when I got to the dealer... They had all three colors of the Busa on the floor, and I had to think about it for a minute...

Wish one did you pick? I think the Silver 03 looks ALMOST as sleek as a Silver Busa

From Nc down to Daytona, to include getting lost and attacked by hordes of bugs on more than on backroad. 716 miles in just over 12 hours with takin my time and semi sane speeds. But there were a couple of times when the road was empty and I just had to let 'er stretch out and run

Me and a buddy rode 1150miles from sun up to sun down from Iowa through South Dakota (the autobon as we called it) all the way through Wyoming to Logan Utah. This was part of our 7 day 5400 mile trip to California. But that was on a RF900. Only been 800 miles in one day on the busa. Home to Americade in upstate NY.

i just recently come back from a trip, i on average rode 900 miles a day aprox 1400 kms and all on a gel seat.....average speed 120 mph and about 7 tanks of gas, and a new rear tire.....not to bad for two weeks.

In the 80's I drove around 1265 miles...Started in northern New Hampshire and ended in GreenBay Wi...took me 23 hours. I took a bunch of stops because I was riding a 500cc Interceptor.........Sore butt!
