The longest I have heard of on a Busa is the 100cc. A guy in his 50ies road from Florida to San Diego and back in less than 100 hours. The thing that is really amazing is he did it with a chick on the back. They are some tough cookies. bowdown.gif
Here is the link to that story.

My most for one day is just over 400 miles. From Lakeland south around lake okechobee, over almost to the gulf coast then back to lakeland.

Starting a new job in about 2 weeks .... will be 144 miles rountrip for 5 days a week . smile.gif

Left downtown Manhattan one Sturday morning and drove straight through to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Thank Goodness for my Tobin!

1083 in 19 hours. Denver Co to Evansville In. 1044 from Denver up to The Black Hills, over to Devils Tower and then back to Denver.

I attempted the 50cc (Coast to Coast in 50 hours) but had some problems and bailed in Houston. Gonna have to try it again soon.

On the IronButt Rally (11,000 miles in 11 days), one guy did it on a sportbike, one guy did it on a 250 (Ninja I think). He got to the finish line just before the DNF (did not finish) time of 10pm. When asked, he said he thought the finish time was 10pm not 8pm.

It's a lot of work for the longer rides. On the last one, the lead guy was heading back on the last day when he got mechanical problems (transmission I think) and he was out of the run.

Planning on a IBA 1500 miler in 24 hours sometime this summer, if not I'll settle on the 1500 in 36 hours wink.gif . My gosh I must be bored  laugh.gif

My Xmas roadtrip this year was from Darwin in the Northern Terrority to Adelaide in South Australia. Day 1 was from Darwin to Tennant Ck - about 1010km. (slow, got a blown front which cost me about five hours), Day 2 - Tennant Creek to Coober Pedy - approx - 1300km. (I sat around the speed limit once I hit SA, note: no speed limit on the highway in NT). Day 3 - Coober Pedy to Adelaide - 860km. Plenty of time left but I was already home. lol. I had a fair case of monkey butt and had a stinking sunburn. Wearing all the gear was out of the question, it is a hot one here this year. You can always go further and night riding is almost suicidal given the size of some of the wildlife. What really dictates the distances are how far to the next fuel. Everytime that you say that you will keep going adds 250 - 400km to the day so you think carefully. This is the last place that you would want even a minor issue. Help may be a long way off. In fact, a guy on a Harley (with a B&B motor) ran it out of oil about 180km from the next stop. Lucky he was a gang member and they came and got him. I'll shut up now. biggrin.gif

A little over 1000 miles in one day a few years back Seattle to Reno, took the long way, then back the next day. Last year I did 710 in one day, that about the most I want to do any more, and it was not all freeway lots of twisty stuff so I was spent.
