New TTS Left side supercharger conversion for Gen 1, 2 and 3.

Hi @powerfulone , thanks for your contribution to the community!! I’m glad you’re having fun with it.

As you stated the bike is not a drag bike. I’m interested in seeing the roll race times recorded by a gps like dragy. 60-130 mph and 100-150 mph because they can be compared by anyone with a dragy and in your case are both captured with a 1/4 mile run.

Do you have a dragy or know your times for those two roll race metrics?

My 2022 busa ran 60-130mph in 5.5 seconds (9.90 @ 143 mph) and my friends 2019 zx10r did it in 4.29 seconds. We are in Colorado with an average density altitude of 7,000+ ft. I’m guessing your numbers for this will be very strong!

Either way, keep up the good work!
I had the dragy working on the first 2 runs. 9.43/160. 60-130 3.71. 100-150 3.28. 0-130 6.61s

Hmmmm
The gen3 and sc combo still relatively new.
Testing is still pretty limited so far.
They seem to be having fun with their new and improving progress.
I've yet to see this thing marketed as a drag racing turbo killing monster either, go figure.
Looks more like it's being marketed for what it is, a big hp daily driver.
Better suited for the guy like me, that turns left And right, with a knee on the road, or the front wheel at 11 o'clock for miles.
And again, just for spite, for the sc haters here...I'de Love to see you on your 4,5, 600hp turbo monster catch me on any road with a turn.
Leaving a tree takes skill, otherwise...anyone can go fast in a straight line.
All roll racing is, is who can afford more hp and who will hold it longer.
There's been enough info already posted to let you know if you want a sc or turbo, and if you don't want a sc, or to follow the thread with respect, then go away.
Comparison for curiosity? Absoloutely.
Apples to oranges bs that it runs too hot, or doesn't make the hp you think it should...stick to your turbo.
Leave this for those of us seriously interested.

I was thinking similar things but my thoughts included some not as nice things.

From what I see on Richard YouTube there is a supercharged busa video posted 13 years ago. He’s been making a meaningful contribution to this community along with other platforms (cars and bikes). The haters can’t even use proper grammar; on a platform that requires written language to be useful.

Spending $30k in parts to have a turbo bike is starting to feel silly to me. This kit seem like a no brainier for the majority of people who want boost.

What is with everyone in their feelings around here lately?

You can’t present a hyperbike with a supercharger and not expect comparisons to other bikes. It’s a $50k insane, amazing, beautiful bike. I would kill just to ride one.

Having said that, you present a 370hp bike, people are going to compare it. Sorry. It happens. If I came out with a $100k car with a power adder, wouldn’t you want to compare 0-60 and 1/4 mile times? Since when is that hating? Since when is stating that it is not where it should be for that power wrong? If I had a 500hp car that did 0-60 in 8 seconds wouldn’t you say it was slower than another car?

What they did with that bike is amazing. To think they made 50 of them is crazy. No one’s hating. We are stating facts. Let’s not start with the sensitive safe spaces here.

Not to mention that I would prefer a sc over a turbo and would absolutely buy a kit if it proves out to do the numbers I’d want. I’d prefer the instant power. So I hope it was simply an anomaly and not the normal. I’m sure it is.

My comment is the opposite of a safe space; it’s a warning shot that I’ll put someone down if they are being stupid. The more I’ve seen of this kit the more I like it for its intended purpose. As an outsider it looks perfect for street riding and under 400 whp.

Why not compare and contrast in an intelligent way that is relevant to its intended usage?

For me its usage would be a roll race bike. As such it’s 60-130 is a huge judge of the power and speed it will do during a race. As I would most likely be racing liter bikes and other boosted bikes, if it is slow compared to them it’s not for me. Hence the comment.

The figures I posted were the only ones I had from the dragy as the battery went flat after the first 2 runs. Remember I was at the track 8 hours to do just 6 passes and learning all the time. With the Lift control on 3 and I know now that was pulling timing. I went to the strip today and got 1 run, then it was rained off, so thats it until next March, the track is closed. But that run was on par with my best from last week. 9.40/163 with a 1.8 60'. and a best 1/8 at 129.50. Gutted that I couldn't run any more I was confident I was going to run quicker. But I do have the Dragy and an airport near me but they charge £85 and hour to use it, and its only available first thing in the morning. I will be looking out for a dry day though as I am loving the learning curve.

These people dont realize that you are TRYING to put out GOOD INFORMATION when u say that at almost 400HP... the times seem off. I was simply saying that the bike NEEDS a good light jockey and maybe to be lowered a bit more to get some publishable times.

I thank you for putting this so succinctly :)

I would say it's more about gearing. just like 1/4 mileing.

Al Fagen now of the 44 Teeth Youtube channel track tested the H2R back in 2015 its on the Fast Bikes Channel.
. He's a road racer but couldn't better 10.6 on the H2R in its standard form. He will be testing the SuperBusa in the next few weeks. As will Motorcyclenews channel and Bike World and Carwow. So watch this space:)
