Please pray for my family...

Just wanted to check in and thank everyone again. About to go for the viewing and needed another dose of all this support, too. I know I've said this several times already, but there's no way I can express how much I appreciate all the support. Same goes for the rest of the family.
Just so you know, as suggested on sh.org, after this is all over I'm gonna print all the responses and give a copy to her parents. They need every bit of support they can get right now. If they are at the same place I am with this, the shock is starting to wear off and the pure pain is starting to replace it. I think your support will mean a lot to them even though they don't have a clue who any of you are. A thought is a thought, and a prayer is a prayer regardless of who is sending it out. Just wanted ya'll to know...
As for the pall bearer thing... I've decided to wear my class A dress uniform instead of a suit. My little buddy loved anything to do with police. I think she'd want it that way. Ok'd it with her Dad so that's a done deal. Also supposed to have a TON of marked units leading her on her last ride at her Dad's request. She loved the blue lights so my co-workers are workin' on givin' her the hook up.

Thanks again everyone. Please continue to keep her parents in your prayers. Tomorrow is gonna be a rough day, especially for them. Probably one of the worst they'll have. Even though my part is going to be hard, I have to put it into perspective. They have to be suffering many times worse than I am. Just say an extra prayer to get 'em through the services and burial. I just know that will be the hardest time for them.

I was so sad to hear a loss of a pure soul like that of your little baby . We believe that we are going to meet again some how,somewhere.I will prey for her,and all the family. when you told the little story about her when she was sick it hit me soo much like I saw it in my mind .Memories are what we have to take with us..,Keep your head up my friend......

Oh, and she got the hook up from my co-workers. Every car you can see in this photo was a lit up patrol car. The two you can barely see are another marked Crown Vic and an ambulance. Even the ambulance service helped lead us to the church. That's unheard of around here. I was so proud of the turn out. She loved the flashing lights!
