ROADTOAD's new ride

I will miss the ownership of the Busa , but I need change , I need a new long term bike to modify and enjoy . The Busa was all done except motor , which remained remapped stock internals . In the end , I wasnt looking to go modified motor , not that way with that bike , it was just so nice and smooth and torque laden , just as it was .
The replacement was found today , I had been lusting between 2 bikes , the one I didnt buy was a newish 950 km Ducati V4SP Streetfighter , aluminum tank , dry clutch , BST wheels , Electronic Ohlins suspension , and the full Akrapovic Ti race exhaust added into the deal . 220 crank HP and 200kg wet , Iloved it but as special asit is now as a 2022 model , it wasnt as special as the bike I did buy imo . So , I left the Ducati idea altogether . Once the other choice was decided upon , I was going in to order a 2024 model , because my state / city was sold out of that bike . So when I rang the dealership this morning , , and they said they had the last new 2023 still in store , the customers finance had failed , so it hadn't left the store . Anyway , I got down there to view it and secured it . Got a Titanium Vandemon pipe ordered for them to fit up before I pick it up . I will then get it delivered and start running it in , as well as the KTM . The bike I bought is the 2023 H2 Kawasaki , and I am really looking forward to riding and enjoying and modifying this machine . Here is a couple of showroom pics of it . I will post up some more once I get it .

What I found amazing is my son was stranded in Australia for a couple weeks when his helicopter broke and his ship sailed on as it had timings to meet leaving them to configure the helo for fixed wing transport.

He got a ticket in the mail yesterday from Australia doing 58 in a 50 and it was $256 AU......here was home for a couple weeks all the way on east coast Canada and a ticket arrives....amazing how they found him as he was in a rental.

Hopefully there aren't to many cameras near you 'Toad as this H2 will rip them off their stands once you get it to where I know where you'll be going with it........

I've never seen an H2 in person; aren't they about the same size as most 1000cc bikes?
But if You bought it you must fit on it well.
It is actually a fairly big bike , but the arse to foot ratio for me is bad , so I will be looking at that fairly quickly . It is not comfortable like I had the final peg setup / bar setup on the Busa , but I feel I can get this bike how I want it for the fairly short distance riding anytime it will be ridden .

Government revenue , man they will be on his arse for the rest of his existance if he actually lived here . Those cameras are everywhere in the city and surrounding suburbs , some places can be understood , like pedestrian / school crossing on main roads etc. but not nearly all the rest . The law actually use camo nets and portable radar cameras on the side of country roads , usually the safer locations as well , to rort your dough !!
Anyway , this bike is possibly my last new bike I buy , i guess never say never , but ... , and I go careful whenever I go out to my favorite ride roads , and hope they dont monitor every part of my ride .

So is the H2 closer in physical size to the zx14 than the zx10?

I've also never seen a SuperDuke in person, but several random pictures of them next to other bikes, and they look very large.
I think they would have to be if you fit well on them?

The KTM is long , wheelbase same as ZX14R / Busa , but basically narrower and much lighter . But tall as , I got to swing a leg over , made even worse by my Superduked excellent link addition , which raised back end more . Having said that , the KTM is so comfortable , it is amazing , I enjoy riding it , but have not much yet .
The H2 is deceptive , it is a heavy bike stock , and looks compact , I will thoroughly check it out asap Six , when I get it home .
Yes bro , with this ti pipe and a ecu flash etc. , maybe I hear up to 250 rwhp . Then on , you got to put intercooler , you can beef clutch anyway , and the supercharger gears and blow off valve . A joint in Australia make some incredible kit for this bike , so I be talking to them .

What is a sutur clutch? And what does a slipper clutch
A Sutur clutch is a true slipper clutch designed especially for road race application in this case . It allows you to approach a corner hot , smash down the gears to a suitable desired entry speed all the while the rear tire is able to avoid locking up / skidding , if excessive speed for that gear selected . Sutur make the absolute best top shelf components , World Superbike swingarm for R1 I think I recall around 10k AU . If you want to roadrace like AC41 , then it is the best investment .
The stock Busa has a semi slip clutch , it helps the rear slip and not lock on a mistaken low gear selection . Have you ever taken off on you Busa from standing start , only to have it hop and jump on take off , instead of smoothly , when trying to leave fast ? Well , you can get a Brocks / APE etc. center ring to help eliminate that hop on launch , and if you tune your Busa with pipe install , you can get extra hd springs while you there . Some riders can launch their Busa with the stock oem setup just fine , as is . I do know I had certain times where I got beaten off the line because the Busa was hopping before I got that ring done .

Man there is so much to do to these bikes....im looking forward to making this a monster. I'll add that to the list

The H2 arrived today very late in the arvo . Wow , still cannot believe there is a brand spanking new H2 in my possession . Now sporting the titanium Vandemon exhaust and Brembo GP4-MS Calipers with Corsa Corta Clutch and Brake masters . This bike feels very light to move around , because it is slightly lighter wet weight with pipe , when comparing to my Zed14 reduced wet weight . I got a few thing to do like a new screen to fit up , also a tail tidy , so I will get onto that . I odered a set of BST wheels , and a billet plenum and intecooler with some supercharger gears . I will run it in first ,then get a base reading , then a woolich tune and maybe fit the plenum / intercooler then . I want this to be as reliable as I can , but there are no garuntees with H2 . I got a lot of people before me that have done a lot of the hard work finding out what works or not , so I plan to find out everything I can to build it the way i want . I just want a fast short wheelbase H2 for now tho .
