"claims Russia" those are words to live by.....

Being a person who was in that AOR and know what the ANA was trained on, Javelin wasn't one of the weapon platforms they were trained in.

However, I wouldn't doubt bad actor states have been able to acquire Javelin (and other) systems through 3rd party purchasers.....

Now they are being gifted them by capture....

I never saw any but wasn’t really involved as ouch as I was just delivering.
From how I read it it’s not the ana that had them or left them. It was us. It’s a common missile and it certainly wouldn’t surprise me if there were some there.
But anyway Russia capturing things in ukraine in my opinion is being blown out of proportion.
There are spies everywhere. Look at the two navy soldiers just arrested for espionage. Both Chinese, go figure, and giving secrets to China. There are probably spies working in the factory that makes javelins. Likewise we probably have spies everywhere in Russia. That craft is really old.

It is my belief that there were no Javelin left in Afghanistan as only the COIN used them...

It is a far cry from the huge number of Stinger systems they gave the Mujahideen back in the '80s...but they only gave them enough batteries to last for so long..

As for tech falling into Russian hands, I agree espionage is alive and well, has always been and always will be however, it is one thing to get plans and pictures, its a whole other animal to get the actual item...

So much so that the US is reconfiguring the Abrams they are giving to Ukraine so sensitive items don't fall into Russian hands...

A few years ago the Chinese were working on buying an oil company here in Canada which had well heads near one of our biggest training areas where the UK troops come to train....there was a lot of heat and light on that purchase as guaranteed there would be Chinese spy stations set up really quickly....

He leads the worlds largest private army no? One that gets paid to fight whoever and wherever. They’ve been to Syria and have been and still are in Africa. Russian soldiers of fortune. Maybe the Saudis can hire them like soccer players?

This particular group seems to have close and exclusive ties to Russia unlike other mercenary groups I've encountered before....

There is a lot of speculation as to what happened with his personal jet...I've read there was some "suspicious" maintenance being done on his aircraft to the Russian Anti-air battery took it out.....

He/they have ties to Russia but pics of his second in command and many others around him show nazi style tattoos which are very similar if not same as many Ukrainians have been shown to have. There is decades worth of history between men in that area between both countries and even longer history going back to WWI and WWII. A lot the average person doesn’t know.

Anyway another possibility is that he faked his own death with the help of the Ukrainians and is now in their hands. Pretty sure his mind is one they’d like to pick.

Yes the Russians gave him a nice burial. They said they identified him from his missing finger and dna right? So where’s the pic of him? No matter how mangled let’s see it.
No worry he’ll pop up in Syria again like he did last time he died. Rofl

Funny how conspiracy theorists miss the obvious. Prigozhin is dead and did die on that plane. The question is who killed him and why? If Putin wanted to show power he would have killed him right on the spot when he stopped his march to Moscow. Rumors are Putin was scared poopless, haha. Whoever killed him is showing real power and I think this is more scary to Putin than Prigozhin was...
