Russia and Ukraine

We're not out of ammo, just out of ammo for Ukraine. And who is to say the lack of ammo is not a head fake to get the cluster bombs off the shelf? Think about it, it's not like we didn't know the rate of fire in Ukraine.
Best way to dispose of aging banned weapons is to give them to somebody else and justify their use. Clears the shelf space for new stuff too. Win win for the defense industry.

In my YouTube feed last night I saw this movie. Apparently Russian produced pro-Russian ukraine war movie. What struck me is the attn to detail, special effects and no cost barred in using equipment to depict battles. It’s all in Russian so I have no idea what they are saying but you really don’t need to anyway. But the ‘good guys’ are the Russian in it, that’s obvious.
I kinda FF’ed and watched and FF’ed some more thru it. But there are some really decent war fights shown.

On top of that the best way to make huge profits is to involve the MIC, shipping companies, airlines and construction companies that are supplied with raw materials from other industries is this.... Start a war, or jump into an existing war. Then blow up everything in sight and kill off a bunch of people. Then have the construction companies come over and be awarded "no bid" contracts... like Halliburton was able to do in the past.

Talk about money laundering!! :lol::beerchug::thumbsup:

Wars are a win win for sone

USA always get in 1st for the rebuilding , look at Irag and Afghanistan, US contractors made billions. Will US cross charge Ukraine for all the munitions supplied.

The sane way Uk we’re nearly bankrupted in 1947 by the US loans from WWII

This war as Zerkd says a money laundering exercise plus a large meat grinder :(

The reality in the Ukraine is the polar opposite of what msm is selling to the sheep
the reality is that when Germany was reunified - nato made promises to Russia NOT to push any further east.
That was 16 or 17 countries ago and as it moves ever closer to Russia it’s bio labs and missies move with it.
Then there is the genocide in the Donbas
Putin has been to the international courts many times - he has never seen justice
when the sheep find out their Bradley armour has the swastika painted on it they May perhaps begin to see beyond the veil
i hope for americas sakes you do - the second amendment is there to save you from such tyranny as you face right now

.......so you are saying Russia is justified in invading Ukraine?

@Bumblebee see my post above with movie link. Full length feature film.
I get a "video unavailable" message..so am unable to see this video.

Regardless, I know all the nuances surrounding Ukraine and Russia yet still don't see the authority of Russia to invade....

The ideal of NATO breaking a "gentlemen's agreement" or accepting new membership doesn't justify an invasion....

I know about the Ukrainian neo-Nazi units active within their ranks yet still don't see this as a provocation for a war...

There is lots of talk of "money laundering" and such...but real people are dying and having their lives torn apart...it's true wars generate economic gains but the huge cost of life and de-stabilization of a region has to be taken into effect above all.

This would be like the US invading Mexico because the US was tired of illegal immigration and the aggressive crime found in Mexico...

The 2nd amendment legalizes gun ownership, not creating your own militia because you don’t agree with leadership. There are democratic processes in place to change things.

The 2A acknowledges one’s given birth right to defend themselves. No different than the Constitution. Neither grant anything. They simply recognize what all people are entitled to from birth.
What were the opinions of the founding fathers regarding when those democratic processes fail? What did they do?

The process is not the problem. It’s the increasing inability to reach compromise due the the level of partisanship. Breaking the law in the guise of defending oneself from it is still breaking the law and the constitution does not condone that in any way.

Just like we figured, the Wagner situation was a ruse to get them into Belarus and near the Polish border....

Now Poland is ramping up near the Belarus border in response....

I kind of thought they'd be launching against Ukraine from the Belarusian border......but even that isn't out yet I reckon....

Putin is playing chess and we are playing checkers.

A dangerous game to be played......NATO would mop the floor with Belarus and Russia right now I figure....
Yes but Poland isn't NATO. It is but a country that is a member. It would present an opportunity to see how dedicated the NATO pact would respond if Poland had to join in. But it could wait to see what level "line in the sand" could be drawn.

Scquirmish of a week is not worth WW III.
