Ive been hearing alot of comments about people not watching the inauguration because of Obama, i believe these people are being ignorant and not realizing that this is an american tradition that everyone should be a part of. Obama is our president now and thats not going to change, we need to support him and come together as a nation. Do you really want to be that person in 20 years when we are looking back after maybe having another minority or woman as our president and someone asks you," You remember 20 years ago the inauguration of our 44th president and how it all started with him."....what are you gonna say, "No, i slept thru it" or "I didnt watch it because i didnt like our president elect"...do you realize how IGNORANT and STUPID your going to sound. I myself, being a hispanic 22 year old male is proud and honored this event has happened in my lifetime. This day will go down in history books and people will remember this for the rest of their lives. I might not agree with everything he has to say, but i will not deny him the right to TRY and become a great president. Give him time and we'll see what he does, hopefully we will vote him in for another term,if we dont like the direction he went, we'll vote for the other guy....(sigh) im done Lol

I am not watching it, but I also skip the Macy's parade on tv, the super bowl, the world series and a lot of other "BIG" events, just do not interest me.. I would rather be "doing" something than sitting.. has nothing to do with anything except boredom (yea it is all boring if you ask me)

Mr. B how can you just sit through the Super Bowl? I am jumping up and down and have to get up at least 10 times to go to the fridge to get another beer. Then at half time there are burgers to eat and high fives to give. Come on man, out of the coma,

I would reply that the over 60 percent of my staff that I have had to lay off in the last 6 months would strongly dis-agree with your assessment of the state of the economy. Perhaps California is the worst-case example, but either way, bad is bad. I generally give little weight to the media, they have become puppets used to generate hype and spin, not balanced reporting.

I do agree with you that this is still the greatest country on the planet, but there is still a lot of room for improvement and recovery.
