I'm going to call B.S. on this killer cop thing. As we all know, only the smallest tip of the iceberg is in view above the water. Cops are committing murder in plain view, knowing people are watching and probably video taping it - often. That is an act of terror, that's why someone would do this so brazenly.
I hear that a cop has a right to get home at the end of the day and I certainly agree. But I watch cops take white terrorists (who have actually shot at the arresting officers) safely into custody so they get their constitutionally guaranteed day in court. Then, they publicly execute an already subdued black suspect who is unarmed, suspected of committing a non-violent crime and has willingly allowed them to cuff him?
While I certainly agree not all cops are bad, it is a historical fact that a certain portion of law enforcement has played the role of oppressing the black & brown communities since reconstruction. This has taken many forms including slave patrols, coordination with the Klan, aggressive enforcement of Jim Crow Laws, intimidation of travelers (ever heard of the Green Book?), and it appears now public executions on Youtube. I know a lot of you here will not like this, but if you look at the facts objectively the only conclusion you can draw is there is and has been for most of our country's history a significant effort by law enforcement to oppress certain communities in the United States of America. While there maybe only a few officers doing the atrocities, there are a lot of officers facilitating it behind the "blue wall".
Many will say the classic "if you don't like it leave" or "let's see who you call the next time you need help". To those people I say what would you say if we were constantly catching black cops publicly executing defenseless white people?
As for riots, what else can they do? This sort of event would be forgotten as soon as the networks stop getting ratings showing the execution. Each time it happens we would look on with outrage then forget it happened, only to start the outrage process again a month later when the next incident happens. It is curious that a lot of the protesters are white. Maybe it's pinned up frustrations from COVID, I hope these are not instigators. What do you do when the police are the killer and the general population don't feel like it's something that needs to be addressed?
