Weather Where You Are

Round two has hit here, the snow is falling and the wind is blowing, I've just come in from doing the driveway and clearing the car off for the wife to go to work....as soon as I was done the driveway, the wind had blown the snow into it again, it's like an endless treadmill out there...

We've got well over a foot of snow so far and it's still coming.

It's been fairly warm this past week, but staying just above freezing for the next couple days. Should be able to have another couple of bonfire nights with friends before it becomes too hot for smores.

Well, here you'd be hugging the fire.....it was 2'F this morning, I went out snowshoeing and my mustache froze to the collar of my jacket......

But I love the cold and especially on days like this where it's bright and sunny with a fresh snowfall..

40 F at day break and a little windy, at 3p 54 F and sunny. I’m sure I would freeze to death in all that snow.
The snowmobile guys are pretty happy now at least...my one neighbor has a whole fleet, one for each kid and one for him and one for his wife....where they find time to ride them is anyone's guess...

I think there are at least 10 or so of them on my street and they are all new (er).

My wife told me I should get one but I really don't want one.

Got a foot of fresh white snow last night, I just spent over an hour clearing the driveway...

Picked up a chest cold so have been coughing up a lung which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable....

Thank goodness for the winter yellow beastie......it got a work out this morning.

One more driveway to go....in a bit.....

Decisions, decisions....

I had to decide to use the green or blue shovel today.....
I hear ya buddy. The frustrating thing is looking at the 7 day forecast it’s predicting the same as today through Thursday but 40 - 50% rain next Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I’m off work all 3 days. But that’s a week away and plenty of time for that to change I’m hoping.

Not many people watch the weather like we motorcyclists (and snow removal people...LOL)

I was just out clearing the driveway again....I use my leaf blower to clear the snow off the vehicles and it works great for that as long as the snow is not wet and heavy...

I remember a summer a while back that it seemed to rain every other day....it sucked...

Rain and 39 degrees today but the 14 day forecast doesn’t show any rain and temps will be in the mid 50s. My new battery is supposed to arrive Monday so after a few dry days I’ll take the Busa for a ride. As riders we certainly do check forecasts more than most. Planning a 6-8 state tour is time consuming and not always accurate though. I’ve been on summer trips where I never used anything but a mesh jacket and jeans even though I reached elevations a couple miles high. Other ’summer’ trips I’ve had to bundle up above 7,000’ several days in a row.

Yesterday was nice and cool and the Busa absolutely loves that!
Today was absolutely perfect!
The next week looks to be super nice as well
I’m hoping for nice weather next weekend. I’m going to ride which ever day is best between Friday, Saturday or Sunday. All day today I was kicking myself for not riding. We have a lot of nice sunny perfect days in Florida but there not always on the weekends. Lol.

Next Saturday a group of us are headed to Bellview/Ocala area to a place called Flying Boat Tap Room. Super good eats and a nice ride north with some “play space” on the way! You’re welcome along as is anyone in the area. Just hit me up and I’ll get you meet up details.

I have a ram air intake in my pick up and when it's really cold it just loves that and gets really frisky....so much so I had to turn my programmer down....

I recall the days of snowmobiling and the minus "holy crap" days sure made them run awesome.

It was a warm 28degC day with very high humidity here in ChCh NZ, we are now in the peak of summer here, at long last! gotta have the bedroom window open all night long, with just a sheet over me while sleeping, around 18degC all night long.
It peed down in Auckland for the weekend and huge flooding occurred, people were up to their chest in the flood waters!
Damned insurance premiums will be on the rise again.
