I walked down to the senior lady's home to shovel this morning and my mustache was frozen to the collar of my jacket by the time I got there...

Extreme cold warnings are in place for the next few days....-45'C is expected....and then there's the wind chill factor to weigh in..
Should be a frosty one...
I noted a heavy wind was blowing and has drifted in my driveway so I'll be out in that cold shoveling tomorrow I suppose...

It's kind of crazy that the extreme cold like we've been having these past few days will cause frost bangs....sound like gun shots from a heavy caliber...
I was out doing some things and noted a big rock in one of our gardens moved.....this rocks weighs over 100lbs...the crazy thing is I heard the bang from when it was moved by frost...

The next couple days are supposed to be in the low 60s so I’ll try getting out.

When I lived at Summit Park in Utah (1982 , elevation 6400 ) when a storm would blow in the leading edge of it for 5 minutes or so would produce large snowflakes... perhaps it was several snowflakes stuck together. It was like somebody popped a feather pillow.

I’m in Cedar Rapids today and it’s 33… I’ll be in Orlando and it’ll be 70!!! Can’t wait to get home.

Beautiful weather in central Florida all week, clouds and possibly rain coming Friday and Saturday dang it. Still time for it to change I hope. This working thing is getting in the way of my riding.

Sheesh, your lows are my highs.
It was a mixture of everything yesterday, snow, ice pellets, freezing rain then rain and finally snow again.....the temps are above freezing so the snow is wet and melting on contact today....
I managed to get my and the senior lady's driveways done before they freeze tonight....

Sunny 85F today, just rained for about 10 minutes. 50% chance of rain tomorrow so don’t know if I can ride but I’m hoping.
I guess you have to enjoy it before summer humidity comes along.....
We get high humidity here too but nothing like you guys get
Holy cow our humidity is unbearable from end of July to first of September, you’re never dry! Spring and fall is our best weather.
Almost every time I've been there it's been in the late spring or early summer so it wasn't horrible but it was really humid...
