I've thought about it but there are many things that keep me here..

For one I'd be worried about my grandkids
Then I wouldn't want my house sitting empty all winter just in case something happened and there is no way I'd rent it out in my absence...

I've spent lots of winters deployed somewhere hot and dry, sometimes I'd redeploy in the middle of either a cold wave or snow storm....that was never fun.....one time in particular I redeployed home from a place where it was 38'C almost every day and at home it was -30'C...talk about a shock to the system...

It's snowing it's hole off out there right now...riding a motorcycle is the furthest thing from my mind right now...

Just back from walking the neighbor's dog and I looked like Frosty the Snowman and he looked like Frosty's dog...

Getting real sick and tired of reading "special weather statements" where it is expected we will get a crap-load of snow Saturday.....

It was low 70's yesterday
50's overnight, low 60's now...rain on the way for the weekend...was hoping to ride tomorrow, we'll see.

Supposed to get almost a foot of snow today/tomorrow...

and I just looked at the long range forecast and there's snow expected well into April.....

Where the hell is global warming?

Was just out shoveling, sure was a fun time.....

I was whistling Christmas carols and my neighbor was out shoveling and heard me then started whistling them too...we had a good laugh....

I wager it's going to be a long time before the bike is out of storage.
