Yeah I not quite sure about that one. There is some damage to the front edge but it's not as bad as you would think. It may have only slip on the right side for a minute then flipped over.I'm sure you probably could care less about this right now jw, but it's amazing to me how the right exhaust can still looks in pristine condition after it laid down on the right side...
*Update*
I just got back for seeing my sergeon and he was very positive. I can start putting a little weight on my leg/foot(well just the weight of the leg anyway) The X-rays look very good and every thing is nice and straght. So now I have to start working on getting ankle flex back and make sure I keep my knee moving. Hopefully next week I can put down a little more weight and get back to full weight soon.

I saw your wreck right after it happened, be glad your alive to ride another day. The way these nimrods drive in this city your lucky your not road kill. i wish i could enjoy my busa elsewhere but im stuck here (work). one day ill be moving out west for some real busa riding country....hope there still making busas in 2018...haha. good luck with recovery and dont woryy bout a little old ticket. go to court and youll be glad you did.

Been out awhile and just read your thread. Glad that you didn't get run over. Lets see--right leg means you can still drive the Firebird? Hope so. Good luck with the heal and hopefully you'll be in good shape for the warmer weather and hanging out at the lake...

yup, you caught very rear right corner and side, luckily..if hit little more left you might not be here. hope i never have to experience something like that. good luck, get a different color on your next one, maybe that bike was just bad karma on you, i think you said this was your 2nd time...
Thanks, you're right this is the second time I've gone down on this bike. It was rebuilt the last time but didn't make it this go round. I hope no one else gets to expericnce this either, it's not a fun thing to do.
I haven't hurd anything back from the Ins. guy so I'm not sure of the amount of damage to the other car.
Doctors, first they make you an appointment, tell you to show up 15mins early then you wait 45mins in the lobby. grrrrrrrr
