What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

The seat is the stock seat, just had them both re-appulstered with marine grade leather and stitching so it would have no issues with getting wet or sun fade over time. As for where in Canada I'm from Toronto.

And seen plenty of Dr's but there's no cure for this disease, once you get a Busa in your life well I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Good looking pieces. You should do a separate thread introducing yourself and showing these pics because everyone won't see them within this thread.

I'll be honest, still learning how to navigate this thing. What post end up where and what can be seen and what can't lol. I'm tech savvy to a degree, but I'm sure this is gonna take a while.

Took off the mirror spacers today. Might end up blocking them off and using some spot mirrors like @c10 Need to make a 1/2in riser for the bar clamps. Might try to get a coffee run in tomorrow before the weather turns here.

Rode it! It has been bloody hot this summer up here in Ontario and could not brave the gear to go for ride, hopefully the only reason @Bumblebee hasn’t been around.

loving my saddle bags, ride up for a surprise visit after work to my wife’s family cottage for a swim. The wife and kid have been up at the lake a lot this summer.

Also went to help my brother bleed the brakes on this. Him and his son have been working on this old cx550. As you can see they have done a lot of work! He is giving it to his boy when he goes off to college later in the year. A great gift and time spent together building it!

@Tetsuo1000 that Busa color is on my fav list.
The CX is awesome. The sideways V was a very cool design. Looks like they have done it all. Kept the seat and fuel tank...
They have probably seen THIS but it might be fun down the road as they seem to have a passion for the old Honda.
Rubb.

Welcome. Pics, year of bike, pics...
It’s a 2005 gen 1 with some dress up mods. Absolutely love it so far. Bought it with 20k on it and now it has 25k. Did a road trip from Ohio to atlanta to myrtle beach and back to Ohio in July. Doing all the work myself. Changed out all the consumable parts before I took the long road trip (chain, sprockets, air filter, oil etc...)

After an excruciating long covid transport delay, finally got me a new toy to play with..
What's awesome is where I bought it, they put it on a dyno and make sure it's all correct and graph it out.. Not that it makes much sense to me, but it's nice to know what I got was what I ordered and is correct for my weight.

I sent him a pm as last time on site was 8/10 for Bill

@fallenarch , @08BusaKY , @Tetsuo1000

Thank you for your concern....

Darned laptop went in for repairs and it was taking longer than expected so we broke down and bought another in the mean time.

It was a challenge as pretty much all the laptops were snatched up by people either working from home or preparing to go to school..

Penske sends dyno chart too ,and records serial # for future service to reference.
They take them to failure on the dyno seeing where it stops doing its job . Making sure adjustments affect dyno / rebound/ comp

This is my first post as I am a new user on here. Today I did my 3rd oil change of the season (been putting some miles on her this summer lolz). Also my rocker switch went out last week so I put a new one in with some new wire connectors. The smell of the gen 1 after an oil change (Nothing like the smell of excess oil burning off the exhaust). Good day I would say!
future tip on changing your oil wrap your exhaust with aluminum foil before you change it. Never gotta smell the burning oil again. When done simply wrap it up and drop it down 0 oil on exhaust(not gonna lie felt like a pro first time i did it lol)

HI. I ordered the gaskets, rods and main bearings and spacer plate plate. I also ordered the hose for the MTC air assist clutch and some of the fittings. So only about $29,000.00 in parts to go!

Hi. By the time I am dome with the bike I hope to be around $95,000.00 to $105,000.00. It should weight about 450 lbs and make 750 to 1000HP. It will be tuned to run 93 pump gas VP Q16, X98 or VP M1 or M5. Now I think my 600 lbs goal with me on it is not going to be met.
Holy hell umm yeah you and i are completly different levels there ima be the fat ass eating a cheeseburger in the corner still jaw dropped thats crazy thats gonna be an epic day its finally done tho. Keep it up
