What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

@Dai. what kind of weight advantage for the RCS 16 clutch master over OEM ? I assume a pressure switch for the ECU to see clutch on / off values ?
Considerable amount of difference and being the 16 means feeling the clutch is light without getting a workout pulling the lever in and out. They can work with a pressure banjo switch but i'm already seeing fault codes related to the switch even though it is exactly as the oem setup, changed it out last night and the problem was still persistent so i'll reconfigure as per the LE which operates with a separate button.

Hmm.... Interesting. I grabbed a pressure banjo fo the 16 I got of you and touch wood, the switch hasn't missed a beat yet.. Hope it'll stay that way for a while.. (finger crossed)

Yeah we’re not sure what the issue is, 2 pressure bolts made by different companies and it’s still having the issue. Cleared the code through my SDS scan tool but still faults.

I’ll run a separate switch instead ha.

The pressure switch did not work for me and I got error codes using a Vortex brake light hydraulic switch. The micro switch has worked well and I haven't had any error codes since I installed it (about 4 years I think). I was thinking the adjustment of the switch throw might make a difference. As you pull the level, the clutch is gradually engaged until its full on. I think where the switch says the clutch in pulled in impacts the error code. The hydraulic switch is for a brake light so the response is very light. I did adjust the pull on my switch but it was very close to the directions (if you can call them that) that came with it. This is just a guess, but it does explain why some get no error code and others do with the same basic installation.

Yep definitely put it down to that, changed it back to oem m/c and the problem is gone. I'll play it safe and throw on a separate switch to start as i don't need to pull in the lever at all......Just need to remember to not leave it in 1st when starting.

I try to warn all the new guys in their introduction post to steer clear of that pusher we have around here, sorry I must have missed yours Carl. It's a long expensive road to recovery and I'm not sure anyone has fully made it to that point but we're all behind you. I tell you what next time this pesky dealers send u a supply let me know and I'll tell you where to send that stuff for disposal

I've seen and particpated in this type of thread on other forums so just thought I'd give it a try here.

If you guys don't like the idea then feel free to ask the mods to delete it...But it gives you a chance to show off you daily work that sometimes goes unappreciated and may motivate others.

As for me, I replaced the chain and sprockets (+3 on rear) and adjusted the speedohealer accordingly on my busa. It was the first time I replaced a chain myself (usually have the shop do it) and frankly I was surprised how easy it was to break the old chain and rivet the new master link. The entire job took less than two hours.
I think this thread is a great idea. I haven't done anything to my B

I think it's a great idea. Just fyi I have been in other forums for other sportbikes and you guys here are by far the most helpful, knowledgeable, and surprisingly humble group. I say surprisingly because the Hayabusa is a completely badass bike no matter how you slice it, and if anyone has the right to brag or be cocky it's the Busa owners, yet you show humility and are so helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you again for everything, a post about everyone's progress on this fantastic motorcycle is a great idea, keep it going :)

Well yesterday I put the bump on the back, today I put the Hayabusa sticker on the left. Left side was all black and I wanted some color. I plan on putting 1 sticker a day til it's done. I have the GSX1340R srickers to put on and ride or die stickers, and a Suzuki Man lol. Still not 100% sure where and how many to put.
