Added a bit of sexy carbon porn to the old girl.:beerchug:

Installed @GIXERHP switchback kit. Easy plug and play, he makes quality kit. I know it is expensive but he sets it up with all the proper connections, and when I had an issue, (not realizing Suzuki uses an adapter on their headlights bulbs that I had to unplug and use) he says just call me, here is my home number.
You can’t do that to Amazon sellers.
In the end I would totally recommend his kit. I like the look of the running lights and it switches to signal like the Gen 3. Also the back signals turn red to give you a huge increased visibility brake light.

Thank You!

Pulled the stator cover off again since there was a horrific racket coming from within it.
Advice for anyone who replaces a stator:
BLUE thread locker on the stator cover.
RED thread locker on the stator itself.

I used blue on all of them, but that didn't even last 13 miles on the three interior ones...now I have to wait until next week to test ride again :(

I put my brand new AGM battery in the beastie, I didn't even get the start button all the way in and it started right up and ran 150%...no leaks, burbs or hiccups...

Went out for a wee ride as it is a little bit chilly yet...I seem to have forgotten just how fast this bike is....

If a gen 3 is faster, I surely don't need one as this old gal is plenty fast enough for this 'ol country boy...

Had a b king, a 99 Busa, a 08 Busa, and a 2016 Busa in at the workshop today for servicing....

The 99 street fighter had a suspected oil pressure issue, oil light on at idle 1200rpm, checked it with oil pressure gauge and it was 490 kpa at 3000 rpm @ 60deg C, spec is 200 to 500 kpa so it’s all good. Replaced the pressure switch and back to normal!
It was also running on 3 cylinders intermittently and that turned out to be dirty injectors.... cleaned out the fuel rail and injectors and back to normal.
It was geared low and was scary on the road test, never ridden a Busa with low gearing before... wheelies on demand in 2nd gear lol .
It has yoshi cams and a big bore kit installed, 32 bit ECU and O2 sensor in the yoshi exhaust system. Also has a Öhlins shock... mmmmm... nice.

Oil change and plugs on my sons and my bikes and new tires on his. Father son ride coming soon!

My son is coming over soon too. He will ride the Z for the first time. He either rode one of my CBXs, the Busa or his 955i triple with me before. Took his Triumph on an 8 state tour with me one year. I took the Busa. We rode thru several NPs from sea level to over 2 miles high. Great experience! We‘ll just head out for a couple day rides or a weekender this time.

Well I took mine to get valves checked, spark plugs and air filter replaced, and compression check but I found out one of my cylinders has low compression at 150 :( I got the bike from a used bike and repair shop and I don't trust them anymore. Current mechanic said all valves were in spec and I don't even ride it that hard usually so was most likely like that when I bought it.
The chamber is worn out and slightly damaged
