What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Sequential integrated tail light came in, but their version of "smoked" was not as dark as I had hoped and the plastic lens is not screwed in the same way so I can't swap them . Definetely covering up that reflective glitz strip...works great tho!

I think they have some spray smoke tinting. Have not personally used it, but others state it works.

Didn't that bike have smoke front and rear signal lights?

Yes she does! The darker tail light is the one that you put on it, but two strips of the LEDs are going out so I bought a new one. New one is very transparent for being "smoked"...I was going to swap the lens cover, but the screws are put in differently for each unit. I'll look into spraying it darker if it doesn't look good on the bike.

I think I got it from Clear Alternatives. They may have a solution for ya. Those strips are solder joints if I remember right. They had/ have a fix I think.

I swapped the gear shift clamp 180 deg to 1 up 5 down, I had to change a kick stand cap screw bolt to hex head for clearance removed the kick stand switch and tucked it away
I like this pattern as It makes clutchless up shifting ( 4th 5th 6th ) much better and shifting exiting corners easier, i have used this mod for all gsxr's ive had, Its been a while so my first ride had a few wrong shifts but no big deal take it easy for the first couple of rides and then it feels normal so long as your not swapping bike its geat

@Tetsuo1000 you got me motivated :). Finally got the right side fairing off last night and cut the cat off just now - what a boat anchor...... Just have to clean & square up the pipes and slip the decat pipe into place.
Definitely would be better to put a real header in there but I’ve always liked the dual exhaust look and besides I’m on a bit of a budget right now.
Thanks to another member for the tin foil trick on the oil filter removal and definitely appreciating some impressive Suzuki engineering under the hood of this bad boy !!

Woke up early to install led head light and marker lights. I used VLEDS (6k) micro extreme H7 and their 194 single led bulb for the marker lights. All the bulbs were $100 but they are definitely worth the cost. I have them installed in my car and the quality is great.

Installed @GIXERHP switchback kit. Easy plug and play, he makes quality kit. I know it is expensive but he sets it up with all the proper connections, and when I had an issue, (not realizing Suzuki uses an adapter on their headlights bulbs that I had to unplug and use) he says just call me, here is my home number.
You can’t do that to Amazon sellers.
In the end I would totally recommend his kit. I like the look of the running lights and it switches to signal like the Gen 3. Also the back signals turn red to give you a huge increased visibility brake light.
