What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

He has done all of mine, as well. Don't think he is doing it any longer unless something changed in the last year. He was pretty frustrated at his profit/loss ratio.
How much was it? Just want to get an idea of pricing. A local shop wanted $600 to paint the panels.

I tried to do a set myself and is a ton of work. Sad to hear he is not doing them anymore. At least gen3 has painted inners, so maybe one day I’ll get one of those and won’t have to worry about painting inners. Lol

What’s the process with it?. Sand the longer tank panels til their smooth and throw some colour on?. I’d be happy with gloss black.
Will, definitely had the process down. As @mabupa mentioned, lots of sanding and there is a flex agent added to the paint so it doesn't chip. A single color is definitely easier since you don't have to follow the lines or contours.

Yes, sand almost smooth and then use some filler primer and sand some more. The problem with the ones I did myself was that colorrite did a terrible job matching the paint to the 2009 pearl white fairings I had and didn’t look right. I ended up sending them out to be redone.

Cleaned the old girl tonight… just done some serious maintenance on her over , the last couple weeks, upgrades and a bit of luv for the old Busa, she’s done some serious work over the 8 years with me…..here she is,

I adjusted my fork settings from middle, 7 clicks, to max, 13 clicks. I also filled a cc dispute with Burkhart Performance for no communication or delivery of my 1" raising links / dog bones. It's been over a month and they don't respond to emails.

13 clicks turned out is actually minimum dampening, the softest dampening setting… was that what you were wanting to achieve?
