Who Rode Today?

Hard to imagine a ‘Busa man doing anything silly…
What's hard to imagine is needing/wanting to have more power......this thing is pretty scary when one gets twisting on the "go fast handle,"

Around here with the crappy roads, crappy drivers, farm implements occupying the roads along with narrow shoulders I find myself seldom using the power I have at hand......but it is nice to know I have the power if I ever want to use it.....kind of like a big dog ready to bite at a command.

Sorry for laughing Mike, but that mirror is way over the top. . . amazing it didn't break in transit lol, then you guys would have to turn back and go get another mirror!!
And the slippers . . only women do sh*t like that lmao!

Looks like a nice spot you're at . . is it warm there? Looks warm and that is a thin tent lol.

Hi. Yes she is a girl all the way. There is a lake too. It was the 1st time I ever went kayaking. I did not bring my phone so no pics. It was a very good time. Wallmart $8.00 for the mirror. She haz a few of the and a lot of smaller ones just to mang to count.

I rode the one with the skinny wheels and no motor today, 60 miles with a bunch of mostly 30 year olds.

You guys think I have a warped sense of humor?

One of the riders was a Professor at NC state. She had this written on her cycling clothes:

“Train where where you belong.”

I asked her what that meant and she responded by saying it means to train with a group of similar fitness and riding ability.

I thought it meant something else, as it was written on her cycling pants, covering her butt cheeks.

I have just come back from a short but fun ride through the back country roads....it's a little cooler out today and the bike thoroughly enjoyed that, it literally jumped when the throttle was hit even a little, the thing really gathers in speed in a hurry when coaxed......

The traffic out there was almost non-existent which is always great

Now I will be hopping on my other yellow beast as the lawn needs a haircut.....

Very nice. I cant wait for the cooler weather to be riding in. Especially when on the way home at the end of the day. Traffic still sucks, but stop n go is better when its in the 60s VS 90s

Hopefully next year Ill get into the motor and the fat pig will be twitchy when I turn her throttle.....lol

Rode into work today. Im always a bit early to beat traffic so got my choice of parking spots.

Your beastie turned out great....just enough shiny bits to set it off but not enough to overpower the senses....

Crazy parking spot, interesting that space isn't reserved for foot traffic in and out of the entrance....but they have a good gargoyle guarding the entrance....

I rode the Goldwing 26 miles last night, and cooler weather is here too.
Through monday it was high 80's to low 90's, with lows in the high 70's with high humidity.
It changed alot overnight and went to daytime highs in the low 70's with lows around 50...a little cooler at night than normal...60 would be ok...but it beats the awful summer heat that we've had this year.
I filled the GW up, same pump, and am getting over 44mpg.
I did alot of cruising, but several hard pulls to 90 and 100 on the speedometer.
Over 2/3 of those miles had my stepson(14) with me(who also rode on my Concours), and my 13 year old daughter, her first ride of 73 miles and 2 hours last friday, which she loved.
He's about 140 lbs, she's about 100 lbs, and even though I can't tell that they are back there, the GW got pretty good mpg pulling the extra weight(I'm mid 190's in gear, and they were both geared up too...now they both need some gear of their own).
I managed to drag my heels, and the highway pegs in some turns, but the pegs are very comfortable, and worth it to me.
I also don't care about mpg, but though it was pretty good for a half-ton 6-cylinder.

and I went about 185 miles on that tank since last thursday, with over a gallon left, before filling it back up last night...not just the 26 miles I did last night.

I rode this morning, it was around 65'F or so and the bike loved it......it gets really frisky when the air temp is lower......reminds me of the old 2 stroke days....

Later on this evening the boss lady and I took the truck for ice cream and we saw at least 10 Gold Wings riding together...they were all the latest gen except one and it looked a lot larger than the others.....it dramatically stood out....
