So here's the news we have all been waiting for
dramatic drum roll
As I mentioned before we are getting a 20% discount on the event tickets. I have been working with a guy named Justin Williams @ RPM and I think we have all the questions answered.
First off, if you have not signed up for the suzuki 20th anny free 2 day tickets, do it.
For those that have those already reserved, they are good for Sat/Sun only and ONLY FOR THE ONE WHO SIGNED UP. The fine print says you have to present proof that you own one, so unless you have two, you'll need a seperate ticket for any one not you (ie spouse, sig. other, kids, etc) That ticket does NOT cover Paddock access either, just main event stuff.
We can purchase, directly from RPM tickets for Friday, Paddock passes for whichever day and any other tickets you might need @ 20% off. Simply call Justin Williams at 303-377-3278 and tell him you are with the hayabusa owners group. He has a paypal acct set up for these ticket sales so that each person could purchase tickets.
He also confirmed that the group in Denver is working on getting us some parking at the event near the main suzuki tent. He said "I think they've arranged all that" so thats good news as well, cuz parking for those that are not at the resort "will suck" according to Justin.
Also in the news, they have just announced that they will have an amateur super moto event AND that they are having a poker run Friday morning ~10am. Lots of cool prizes for the poker run. They will be having a 5 stop and 7 stop run, its $15/hand and either run is still the best 5 cards. Since its early in the day on the first day of the event, chances are probably pretty good to sneak in there and get some cool stuff
Anyway, there's all the news fit to print
I suggest everyone contacting Justin as soon as you can to get your tickets arranged.
Remember, If you have the Suzuki pass and if you are going to be there friday you need a pass (thats $10), if you want paddock access thats $10/day, it will be for 2days I think. So its $24 for all the passes you need once you get the suzuki pass compared to $48 with out it for the same deal (3 day + 2 paddocks).
** oh yeah, if you arent on the contact list, get me your info. Dont forget the emergency contact point... would hate to ever have to make that call but would be even worse if we had to tell the wrong person something happened to you
