Your 1 stop post for all the info...

Nice lookin designs, may want to add a slight outline to the rider. Took me a few minutes to see the rider.

hey 5280, who are you workin with at RPM? I have a contact over there I've been chatting with about tickets and stuff, maybe we should coordinate efforts ?
I talked with Denita at RPM but they want to charge us for the space...$500-$1000

What I am thinking is to host our event at the Suzuki van. RPM allocated them space for 300 bikes and we will have about 80 or so Busa's. I am working with the regional sales rep for Suzuki to see if they can block off space for our group in that area. I will have a table set up for the shirts and bike show registration.

Since Suzuki is catering lunch and giving out goodies I thought this would be the easiest and most affordable way to do it. Everyone MUST register on their 20th anniversary site to get tickets, lunch, goodies, and parking. If you have significant others attending, you will have to buy their tickets seperate.

Also, Super Streetbike WILL be there and their editor might be one of the show judges so plan on that.

5280 i like the shirt but i was curious of what the image is on the busa i'm not really sure on it otherwise the rest looks great

Keep us updated right at a month left now

The rider...I will add some detail to the helmet

this is gonna be fun....
Hope they allow campfires in the evening...
single malt scotch and cigar with a fire after riding all day, now that's the way to relax.

5280, he's talking about a contact list and not the who's coming list! Thought it might be a good idea to have a flyer so as people come to the event they can get a hold of someone! Or God forbid someone gets hurt the proper folks back home can be notified..... But, that ain't going to happen!
smile.gif

So here's the news we have all been waiting for

dramatic drum roll
wink.gif

As I mentioned before we are getting a 20% discount on the event tickets. I have been working with a guy named Justin Williams @ RPM and I think we have all the questions answered.

First off, if you have not signed up for the suzuki 20th anny free 2 day tickets, do it.

For those that have those already reserved, they are good for Sat/Sun only and ONLY FOR THE ONE WHO SIGNED UP. The fine print says you have to present proof that you own one, so unless you have two, you'll need a seperate ticket for any one not you (ie spouse, sig. other, kids, etc) That ticket does NOT cover Paddock access either, just main event stuff.

We can purchase, directly from RPM tickets for Friday, Paddock passes for whichever day and any other tickets you might need @ 20% off. Simply call Justin Williams at 303-377-3278 and tell him you are with the hayabusa owners group. He has a paypal acct set up for these ticket sales so that each person could purchase tickets.

He also confirmed that the group in Denver is working on getting us some parking at the event near the main suzuki tent. He said "I think they've arranged all that" so thats good news as well, cuz parking for those that are not at the resort "will suck" according to Justin.

Also in the news, they have just announced that they will have an amateur super moto event AND that they are having a poker run Friday morning ~10am. Lots of cool prizes for the poker run. They will be having a 5 stop and 7 stop run, its $15/hand and either run is still the best 5 cards. Since its early in the day on the first day of the event, chances are probably pretty good to sneak in there and get some cool stuff
cool.gif

Anyway, there's all the news fit to print
wink.gif
I suggest everyone contacting Justin as soon as you can to get your tickets arranged.

Remember, If you have the Suzuki pass and if you are going to be there friday you need a pass (thats $10), if you want paddock access thats $10/day, it will be for 2days I think. So its $24 for all the passes you need once you get the suzuki pass compared to $48 with out it for the same deal (3 day + 2 paddocks).
cool.gif

** oh yeah, if you arent on the contact list, get me your info. Dont forget the emergency contact point... would hate to ever have to make that call but would be even worse if we had to tell the wrong person something happened to you
