New rider Nathan on a Ducati ST2, that bike is a classic, we don't see many of those anymore

We start this ride in Saratoga in the South Bay because a few blocks away is the start of Highway 9, a super twisty ride that heads into the Santa Cruz Mountains

Narrows to single lane through the redwood forest

This area all burned in August 2020

At the park center, there used to be buildings here, visitor center and stuff. All burned down in lightning-caused August 2020 wildfire.

However, we reached the ocean, and it was foggy & cold.

Never know what you're going to get at the ocean, one year prior, same day, it was sunny & warm
