I am trying real hard to understand where you are coming from, I really am, but I'm unable to rationally understand.
I wonder how the British felt against a few little old rifles held by American Patriots? Its not the US military coming against us. The military I know wouldn't do that. Its the little chips away at our rights and our freedoms that will get us. Death by a thousand cuts. I don't understand how someone who served in the military is against protecting your rights. It is mind boggling to me.
Why do you think police want a rifle? If the handguns they carry are dangerous, why do the police want Ar-15's? Superior firepower maybe? Best tool for the job? Why would I want to stop a home invasion with a pistol when I could have a rifle? And its not that we are just pulling facts out of the air. FBI CRIME STATS. Google them. 400 people a year killed with all manner of rifles VS over 10000 with handguns. Facts. Not emotion.
Actually, if you are not emotional and think you will admit that guns are most dangerous to their owner and families.

The weapon has everything to do with the crazy person killing 600 people or 1-2. It also allows them to do it at a greater distance. That's why snipers use rifles not knives. Just saying.....

at work I have a big sign on the wall..... YA CANT FIX STUPID …. I think this applies here.... guns are not toys and should be properly stored and cared for..... people need to EDUCATE THEMSELVES.

Character actors laughing, then suddenly crying when they realized they were on camera.
Helicopter video and commentary of a shooter running into the woods.
Facebook memorial pages to dead children...the day before the shooting.
And the constant statement that the shooter used, yep, you guessed it...an AR15.
Don't belive it? Why not? The cops opened the "shooters" car trunk and took out the AR for the media to see(wait, didn't the shooter die inside??)
Suddenly, every U.S ammo mfg was running at capacity, 7 days, and could not meet demand.
Why don't you look up the list of Democrats and liberals that were heavily invested in gun and ammo mfg companys? It's a Long list.
Sound hypocritical to anyone.

I believe what makes the UNITED STATES sooo great is our freedoms.... lets keep this a free country.... its been workin pretty well for hundreds of years without taking away constitutional rights.... and bear in mind this stuff doesn't affect me personally.... I keep a little 380 on my badge and in my pocket everywhere I go...

I keep a little Taurus semi-auto .380 with me everywhere, except in work or my daughters school, because that's illegal...but yet the most likely place for a shooting.
6 in the magazine, but never one in the chamber.

lol... I debate that myself... no safety on a lot of these lil 380s.... I carry mine hot, and constantly monitor it
I figure if I can't draw and load quick enough, then I didn't need it in the first place.
It's my last resort. I will stand and fight.
I keep it to scare off vicious dogs, if I'm with my family(as it's hard to fight and protect others at the same time), or God forbid, an active shooter.
I'm no hero, and have no desire to ever be in a shooting situation. But, I will not stand by while some pos guns down innocent people.
A stubby .380 isn't ideal against a guy with more fire power, but it's better than nothing.
Be careful guys. Gross motor movements are the only thing you'll be able to do, so carrying empty you better practice or you'll forget. Practice at the range with someone running behind you towards you yelling. Now get it out and rack a round and fire. You may find youre unable to do it reliably.

My Dad taught me to shoot safely at 7, nearing 35 years ago now.
My friends and I shoot many different guns frequently. Lots of safe, open acerage.
Seated, standed, lying down, running, with friends' guidance that were in the military(they wouldn't take me, screws in bones and flat feet, broke my heart, anyway).
For an untrained scrub, I perform pretty well.
I am fortunate that I honestly have no fear, it really just doesn't effect me, and I apparently have problems comprehending it, go figure, idk. I see it as a blessing.
I Do Not say that arrogantly either. I simply put my faith in God, do my best, and come what may. He will give me the strength needed to do whatever needs done in the moment, and the long run(He always has, and fear is a lie from the enemy anyway).
Am I as good a shooter or able to handle a situation the way you could Greg? Lol, not hardly. I have Marine friends, you guys are all the same...I'm glad you're on my side.
I'm glad there are many with the same mindset as mine, but with tremendous training, experience, and incredible ability.
You guys are everywhere, and the media loves to silence all the times a good guy with a gun stops the bad guy with one.
