If you could change the oRg..

Thanks. Might also look at photobucket...I think both have larger file size/length limits and aren't so picky about music...Probably would use my Vimeo account more if I could embed.

Keith why not Youtube?

Would you be looking for stories and pics or the routes or what?

Doug, the one thing this forum does not have is a section for the sport-touring segment of Hayabusa owners. And lots of pics have been posted up of the bikes set up for that type of riding.

But if we take a trip and take some pics, there is no place here to post those up other than the General section which is what I've been using last couple years.

Yes, you have SportTouring.net & the Pashnit Forum for heavy ST orientated forums, but this site is exclusive to Busa owners.

Btw, headed out on a 1200 mile ride this weekend. :cheerleader: Big Sur, So. Sierra Nevada, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Sequoia NP. Typically California weekend ride.

Okay guys the new video section is up now, you can link to videos from:

Youtube
Vimeo Vimeo HD
Google
Yahoo
Myspace
metacafe

Would someone please go test this new area located here....

https://www.hayabusa.org/forum/videos/

I also need to know some other catagories that we will need there...

The Gallery links don't work anymore. At least sort off. Too lazy to whine about it.

Click on the Gallery link up top.
You used to get two options - My Photos, and My Favorites I think it was.

The 'My Photos' link disappeared. I have 525 photos in there. About 20 were marked as 'My Favorites' and that link is still there.

Just to get to your photo gallery, you have to click on 'Member Gallerys', then click on 'P', then click on Pashnit & finally get to the gallery of photos. Way too much work.

Tim this one is pretty easy....

Go to your gallery the long way, Gallery > P > Pashnit

Once your there go to the right side to catagory tools > Subscribe

Once you subscribe to your Gallery it will show up on the My Stuff link like you mentioned before...
Hope that helps...

Rub it in dude!

Bikes -N- Babes photo section

Guns -N- Ammo section,

Member pages for photos, information, linked to their Avatar or such:

e,g, My bikes, my guns,my dogs, my tarantula,my other guns, my kids, Wife, GF. me, etc..

Go into your usercp and you will see you have the ability to upload images right into your profile...

Cap, living danger close to the action here in Robinsbillile I can't recommend much, but it would be nice for those that have never met the group to tie a face to a name. How about an avatar with a picture of the user?

All members have the ability in their usercp to add a profile picture... I think this is what you are looking for...

Would it be possible to change the server settings to update recent threads immediately instead of every hour or whatever it is now? The only consistent thing about this forum that has always sort of bugged me is that I can read a thread, and come back an hour later, click "most recent post" and it takes me to posts that were made hours ago. If I'm not mistaken, it's a server load issue, but I'm no expert.

Follow this step and it will work every time instantly. Once you start using it you will wonder how you ever survived without it...

1. Click the new post button on the top of the screen...
2. Read through the list of threads and see if there is anything that you want to read. If so click on it and peruse until your content.
3. Once you have read all the new post and your ready to walk away then go to the top of the page on the nav bar to the quick links text, click the arrow once and a menu will appear. Choose the "Mark all forums as read" and go do whatever you need to do.
4. When you come back to your computer hit the new post button and only those threads that have changed since you left will be displayed, read the threads you want and when you leave click the "mark all post as read again". You will be able to keep up better with all the data that flows around here...

Great idea! :beerchug:

Don't know if it would be in sport-touring section or not but what about a place to post/share GPS routes?

Ok, so rep, I can see how that could be a bad idea.

How about a "Thanks" add-in where people can add a thanks to your post and it tracks stats if you post a thread or answer that helps them with something.

Promote people being helpful :)

Hey Cap, I dont know about this but what if there was a button or icon that your could click on that showed up on the front page in the classified section for when something has been sold so it will automatically say sold
I look at the classified all the time and think it would be nice to be able to distinguish whats still for sale Vs. whats sold without having to go in and read all 30 posts on an item plus I know many members here are members of other sites and post their items in multiple locations

And a GPS ttracking section so we can track Michelle:laugh:

how about having a feature which will show all of the threads a member has posted. In that way he doesnt have to hunt down a discussion thread to see if anyone has posted anything after him or not.

To illustrate, I click my name to go to my profile and somewhere there a link to a page, or there itself, will be list of all threads that I've posted in. The list can be paginated as most members will have too many to list in a single page.
