Looks like a war is looming in Israel

I don’t recall seeing illegals get plane tickets. Relocated by force maybe. I don’t think people entering illegally should get benefits. I believe they should be able to work and start the process of getting a green card.

False. I recently read that article and was appalled even though the report specifies most of those entered way before the Biden administration. The numbers go back 4 decades.

If you remember the other question I apparently didn’t answer, ask away.
And all the American citizens that died at the hands of illegals is just a mirage... the car crashes and robberies gone wrong are just a figment of our imagination. have a nice day. Some of the mothers have spoken about the loss of their children... nobody in a White House cares about it enough to call... Kamala does the meet and greet in LA and Nevada and that beats going to North Carolina to find ways to help the less fortunate people in the wake of the hurricanes destruction.

One You Tuber and his wife spent 2 days flying supplies by helicopter in and people out of the area destroyed. Cleetus Mc Farland channel.

Bigger fish to discuss are coming...

This sets true for many different groups of people regardless of religion......you live near Toronto so see how different cultural groups isolate themselves.....it's not based on religion.

I've spent quite a bit of time amongst Islamic folk, I've fought extremists and have spoke to ones we have taken captive.....many of which were very misguided, some were steadfast in their extremist ideology and therefore not bending at all.

I disagree and feel Christians and Muslims can and have lived together in peace....the days of the Holy wars are long past...if you visit the United Emirates or Dubai or Saudi, or other such places, they treat westerners very well...

Even if you go to Iraq, Syria and even Afghanistan when the Taliban were ousted, the general populace were very kind and treated westerners with respect....

However as you have eluded to, there are bad apples in the barrel the same as there are bad apples in the Christian faith....as well as Christian extremists.
Hi. Well I do not know to many Christians sayiny if you do not convert we will kill you.

Are you going to claim that we haven’t discussed the propensity, or lack of, immigrants committing crimes more commonly than citizens? We keep discussing the same things, I post links, and a week or two later you make the same claims. Much like the one you just tried to make about the 11,000 convicted murderers during the Biden administration, which actually took place over a 40 year period.

Hi. Still would you want one or two next door? And what are doing out?

You just made my point... the problem began with illegals entering this country... and the crime rate has been increasing ever since. People that don't have a propensity to follow the laws are likely to keep breaking it... especially when they are desperate and undocumented... I would tend to think people that have not been issued some kind of ID are a bit more difficult to find.

Hi. Well I do not know to many Christians sayiny if you do not convert we will kill you.
If you recall it wasn't that long ago that Protestants and Catholics were killing each other in Northern Ireland....and even in North America there was religious division.....

And there are all kinds of (peaceful) extremists in the Christian religion who although are peaceful are devout in their beliefs and stance without bending....at all....if you are part of the Mennonite community and leave, they have been known to track their people down and forcibly take them back....this happened in my home town when I was a youngster.....one of them escaped and was at my cousin's home when in the middle of the night a group of them came to take her back.....and it was go....or else.....

......and it's the Islamic extremists who demand such a thing as forced conversion...these are the same extremists who are devout to Sharia Law....millions upon millions of Muslims don't follow this law.

As a kid we had them as neighbors and at times our dad would send us over there with a tractor to do some work for them and they in turn would build things for us....it was a good symbiotic relationship.....but we weren't one of them and they were clannish...and didn't react to well when one of them tried to leave their order....especially women.....

The takeaway is there are many facets within the Muslim religion as there are in the Christian religion...

I grew up with Mennonites both in my small town, and in school from Kindergarten right through to Grade 13 and to this day, and I would trust them above all others in Canada bar none........................They are honest, hardworking, trustworthy people.
True they do very much keep to themselves, and shy away from outsiders by choice.
Their communities are entirely self-sustainable, and a model for the rest of the country.

They have very little to no patience for wrong doing, or double crossing............................If one of their members does them wrong, the whole community shuns them for life. If an outside who works with them does them wrong, you will simply be ignored and they will find your service/product elsewhere and NEVER through you again.

They are very religious people and follow their religion to the letter, and take discipline very seriously for those who step out of line. I see nothing wrong with this.

Is it wrong?, NO................Just different, and their lifestyles are set back in the late 1800's in a simpler time.

Not to be confused with the US Amish community............While they are similar on the face of it, they are very different too.

Normally I get concerned with religious fanatics in life, as a book governs them rather than reality...........................But the Mennonites in Southern Ontario at least keep to themselves, don't bother anyone else, shy away from government and it's systems, and are honest hardworking people. Honesty, Discipline, and loyalty are at their hearts and if they accept you as an outsider into their community you should feel blessed. As long as you do NOT cross them or wrong them they will be there for life to help you in anyway they can without question.

...however, in this day and age, they are Christian extremists.....

I also grew up around them and took German in school as many of them around where I grew up in Owen Sound spoke German and it was fun to talk to them.

But they didn't mess around, not even a little.....we'd see them in town lots where they went to get groceries, tools or whatever and even though they saw us quite a bit on our farms and we worked alongside of them, in public they wouldn't acknowledge us-wouldn't even look at us....

I agree, they keep to themselves almost to a fault. While it can be off putting to some it never really bothered me. To each their own.

While you could consider them Christian extremists, I wouldn't be worried about them strapping bombs to themselves or going around and killing people.

Mennonites are NOT a violent people at all, infact they shun violence and is ONLY a last resort or for protection only.

While not all religious radicals are dangerous in this world............it seems to be mainly Islamic radicals who are causing alot of the terrorism and killings in this world, and thus need to be dealt with.

The Amish should be prosecuted for depriving their kids of an education above the 8th grade. Their school ‘teachers’ are 8th grade Amish school graduates. Sadly the law apparently allows this. I know the reason the elders claim is the reason but in their community of restrictions this is just one more reason to ‘keep them down on the farm’. Backwards azz people….

No need to be disrespectful towards them. I misread you for someone with just a bit of humor, I guess.

The primary issue with dealing with Islamic extremist radicals is this is an ideology and the next generation has just been born who will grow up to take the place of their elders....

As we found out fighting various terror factions, we could kill and capture thousands of them only to find that was just the tip of the iceberg as their children took up arms against us...many times we couldn't even identify our enemies unless we were in direct contact.

And that's the way it in all those sorts of countries were Islamic extremists are in control or active.

While Christian extremists are generally not violent, in many cases Islamic extremists generally aren't violent unless challenged or provoked (generally by the west). NATO invaded Afghanistan and attacked the Taliban only for the fact they allowed al Queda to operate training bases in their country headed by Bin Laden who also floated in and out of Afghanistan into Pakistan.

Fighting extremists is a very complex thing.

Wrong, there is a great need. I have no idea what you mean by the latter comment about humor. Please, no explanation needed. This isn’t an Amish discussion thread.

I went to highschool with hundreds of Mennonites and they all graduated to grade 13 at that time, many with honours.

I don't know if the Amish in the US are different, but here in Ontario anyway most Mennonites go to the end of highschool at least.
