Trump signed an order to have 20,000 national guards in DC on Jan 6th. This was Nancy's place to also sign and make sure the US Capitol was protected. You must have forgotten the MSM is in the tank for the leftist radical arm of the Democratic Party? Simply notice at the way Nancy tore up the State of the Union speech the night president Trump delivered it.... This shows us all the contempt the leftist in the democrat party has for the former president and this was well before anything at the US Capitol went down. Next you will tell us something else that is ridiculous... The delusional ones are the people that have developed a high level of hate for America.

Have you forgotten everyone is responsible for what they do? Whomever acted out at the US Capitol that day did so on their own recognizance. If someone tells you to break the law are you going to do it?

President Trump upset the Democrat apple cart in 2016 when he won the election and ever since then the leftist have fabricated and contrived everything they can to destroy the former President. They are still attacking him because he threatens the power structure that is doing its best to destroy this country through all kinds of illegal acts.... and that makes people like you "delusional".

If people start rioting in the streets... who is responsible? The summer of 2020 showed us who the people are that will destroy property including police stations, kill, and injure people as well as police that are on the job. This is how far down the sewer pipe of life people will go while knowing they have the support of the leftist in the Democratic Party. The governors and mayors refused national guard support that was offered by president Trump a number of times.... tell me... was the 2+ billion in property damage and senseless killings not worthy of bringing in the National Guard to restore order?

It amazes me how you can "see" so much and then draw such a silly conclusion. Putin always planned to go into Ukraine and Trump was going to let him. Then Trump lost and Putin had to decide if he should invade anyway. Putin listened to the Propaganda coming out of the right and figured Biden was an old man and a nonissue. Oops. Biden has out propaganda(ed?) Putin by announcing his every move to the world. And of course, Biden pulled the world together in record time and has been getting Ukraine tons of weapons - enough to smack Putin on the nose and brush him back. You know, the world Trump flipped off a couple of years ago? It's Ukraine, the same place Trump withheld weapons from while they were fighting the Russians unless they helped his losing campaign?

Didn't trump flat out say he'd nuke Russia if Russia cyber attacked the U.S? I thought this was about Ukraine? So I will ignore Arch from here, but try to explain.

If Russia can no longer sell oil or gas to the world, today, they would have no choice other than pull out of Ukraine in around a month or so. That probably will be the end of Putin. Anyone who does not get this has no concept of the world economy and what makes Russia survive current sanctions.

Trump publicly and in several meetings opposed the Russia Nord Stream gas pipeline to Germany. He did that very strongly with NATO in several meetings. He tried to encourage Europe not to abandon Nuclear energy. He tried to encourage the US to supply energy to Europe. He tried to sell, tried to influence.

Trump signed a law, imposing sanctions on any firm, helping Russia's state owned gas company finish a pipeline into the European Union.

Trump asked NATO several times, how they can expect the US to defend Germany against Russia our adversary, if they are dependant on Russian energy and how on earth NATO could allow that.

Along came Biden May 20th 2021 he waives sanctions on the Nord Stream pipeline and Gazprom the Russian state owned gas company. He actually goes one further and lifts sanctions on the executive, an ally of Russia's Vladimir Putin, who leads the firm behind the Nord Stream 2 project.
All critics agree that the pipeline is a major geopolitical prize for the Kremlin.

So Bee, how does this stray off the point of what is happening today in Ukraine?

The fact that Trump was a jerk and that he did some pretty bad things, does not discount any of the above. That is the topic that some want to discuss here, however it is irrelevant.

You will also notice that I do not get involved in Black or White discussions here on the board. Some folks who are real racist here, have the misconception that if you have a certain skin pigmentation you cannot be a racist.

Russia didn't invade Ukraine over a pipe line or petroleum...they invaded Ukraine because they wanted to reunite the old days of the Soviet Union...it started with Chechnya and Georgia then Crimea and then the Donbas region and eventually Ukraine itself...

The US has always been dabbling in other country's business and it is hard to determine what is fact and fiction these days when it comes to the US foreign policy.

I still believe Putin held off invading Ukraine until he saw where the election was going for Trump...once Trump lost the election, Putin wanted to feel out the new administration before he invaded...I'm not sure what went on behind the scenes (as we all aren't) but I'd wager a lot of saber rattling went on between Russia and Ukraine before the invasion.

As far as race and racists go, I don't get involved in that sort of thing and people on this board would be well advised to steer clear of such things as well.

Some people aren't interested in seeing the truth because they live off of the lies that support whatever it is they participate in. Talking to a former colleague of mine who spent time in Ukraine training their troops...he said they had conscripts as well and they were junk...and their tactics and training were very similar to what is used by Russia...he mentioned without the steady flow of supplies and weapons from the west, Ukraine would have fallen already..

One unit he did mention was the "Neo-Natzi" unit which was and is operating in Ukraine...he said they were vicious and operated much like the SS units of WW2 Germany...ruthless and fully indoctrinated into a certain ideology-other Ukrainian units were scared of them.

Centralized command structures are not conducive to being tactically sound...as soon as a general or command team is taken out, the other command teams are unaware of strategic intent and are forced to fall back and regroup to devise a new tactical plan of attack. You could have the best trained military in the world but if they have a centralized command structure, they can be rendered ineffective really quickly..

As for your US politics, we have our own fair share of major issues up here.

The problems you have up there are kind like the ones we have everywhere in the westernized world.

At the top of the food chain ( we are the food, just check your list of advertisers that have your number, your e mail, and your address ) they are all working together to enslave humanity and to get you to live in fear on a daily basis. Even Merrick Garland our AG isn't immune from threats. Merrick has been told to prosecute Trump or sleep with the fishes.

First it was covid, now its Ukraine and possible nukes. Now we have Shanghai in lockdown as a new variant that is covid like is starting to spread. Add to that the fuel and food supply shortages are scheduled to begin this summer. Be afraid and happy at the same time as Vangard and Blackrock will tell you that you will own nothing and be happy.

On the brighter side a new T cell engineering technology is looking good for cancer patients and chemo might become an outdated technology in the near future... I never believed killing the patient was the best way to kill cancer anyway.

"Should be" is a big phrase....as you know commanders are vulnerable and these commanders have to be in the F echelon due to the sort of command structure they have...

A western commander can command and control from the B echelon relying on his subordinates to execute his intent.
