i didn't even want a hayabusa, but i was test riding all the bikes that i thought i wanted and for the hell of it, i rode the busa.that's all it took!

Really it was a little bit of all, except for the wheelie thing, and yet none of the listed reasons. I was actually gonna get a Bandit 1200 the day I bought the Busa. I had liked the busa since it was introduced, but didn't care for the color options first available. I came in to get a silver Bandit, and the blue/silver busa was sitting right beside it. Both pointed directly at the front door. I paused for 2-3 seconds staring at both bikes, but to tell the truth, I don't really recall the Bandit, though I know I looked at it. The deal was sealed, the Busa was calling to me. I just said "Chris, wrap up the Busa, I'm takin' her home." I picked it up the next day. The bike just wouldn't let me get anything else. Since I've bought the busa, I've tried to sell it twice. Each time something happens, it doesn't sell and then I buy accessories for it. I keep trying to get a more practical bike, but I can't. I think I'm stuck with her forever. And that's not a bad thing either!!!! :super:

I got mine simply because I'm going through my mid-life crisis, I wanted the bragging rights, and I couldn't afford a Viper or a Z-06. Best decision I've made in a long time ... I'm still smiling  :D

I know what you mean about the smile on your face :) Got the same on mine since I bought da mighty busa...

I had a YZF600R Thundercat with something like 27000 miles and it was time to change, specially after a little accident I had (stupid one, with the bike falling down, hitting a wall fast enought to make some damage, and with me standing, since I let it go and didn't fall, looking at it). So I was looking at the bikes on the store and I saw that large-mighty bike staring at me... and suddently I seemed to heard that music... "love is in the air...". Couldn't resist, and brought it home.

I got mine because I wanted the BIGGEST, BADDEST MO FO AROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NO QUESTIONS:O

Had 03 WG harley but after seing BIKER BOYS got
me 03busa.since then sold the harley and keep
the busa love it. :D

When i was looking at Ducatis, because of thier balance and looks hmmmmmmmm whats a Hayabusa.More and more i found myself drawn to the gorgious lines then i found out about the performance, what a plus. How could i not buy that bike. The more i ride it the more i love it.The engineres did a wonderful job on these babies. What can be said.

its good to se 40% of us are at least honest, i own a major tattoo studio in western pa and lets face it my customers are mostly young hot shots on cbrs and little gsxrs and just arent impressed by an old guy and his harleys. so i played around with cbrs for a while and have had my busa for 7 mos now and my harley buds know im insane but the young kids think im all dat and a bag of chips to boot they come in get ink and ask does boney really have a busa? lol what can i say im all about status.

My &%) Katana Got stolen, raped & recovered. I wanted to replace her but not with another 750 Kat (It would have been like a slap in the face!) I figured I'd just buy the ulitmate.

Walked into the dealer cash-in-hand,hell-bent on a new R1.(The old FZR was feeling a little tired).Sat on an R1,but there was a Busa parked next to it on the showroom floor.Hopped on the Busa, and the rest is history.I think they had 'em side by side on purpose.........I have ridden both and feel I made the right choice. No goin' back now...

Wanted to buy a bike for transportation back and forth to work, but didn't want to pay too much. Bought a Kat 750 since I hadn't ridden for a few years and felt like I needed to get comfortable riding again. After awhile, I felt like I had exceeded the capabilities of the Kat and needed something bigger. Didn't really like the look of the 'Busa with the hump, but went in to the dealer and saw one with the passenger seat and decided it was the one. After that it was just a matter of what color to get.

I guess I could say because they don't make the RF900R any more.
I could also say because it is a VFR800 on steriods.
I could say its because only 3 bikes out perform it. Gold Wings can carry more stuff. Harleys leak more. GSX750Rs can out handle it. Otherwise it does everything better than any other bike. :D

I had a Katana 750 and I just wanted something more. You know, more of everything. More style, more torque, more power, more speed, more comfort.

i chose bragging rights cuz i do brag about it alot but really it was just so i could dust the little guys it used to drive me nuts on my gsxr 1100s and would be getting beat by 150 160 pound guys on 750s the busas like an eqilizer for me to beat the little guys yea thats it an equilizer i havent been beat since i got it and it almost seams like you need to be a little bigger to get the most out of the bike smile.gif

I reseached the hell out of it and decided that for the money, there was no better bike on the market.

I actually didn't even think about the busa when I got back into the bike game. I was looking at the TL 1K and GSXR 1K, but as soon as I wedged myself onto those bikes, it was a no-go. WAY too uncomfortable for me, but the busa felt just right and it followed me home...

I bought mine because I wrecked my 2000 ZX11. My riding buddy has a 02 LE and he spanked my 11 like I was on a 600..
Once I had the chance to ride his, I knew one was in my future. Previous bikes : 81 GS1000G suzuki ,Nice bike, next was 85 GS1150ES Suzuki, Built and loved it but was too buzzy for long trip comfort, next 91 CBR1000 Honda, Bike of the year winner,  "should have bought the zx11 " CBR did everything well, but was not very fast, compoared to my 85 zuke . Next 2000 ZX11 KAW , Nice bike but the Busa made me
Crazy. new bike 04SE Busa. Can it get any better than this rock.gif
