Spring Bash ~ April 28-30

hmm, interesting reading about FV ... The place kinda looks like its been there for a bit, guess its all in where you stay there, kinda like other places up there. One of these times maybe we should look into renting one of those cabins Ron & Nancy have up there. No clue on what they cost but we can always check into it. Think they have a few right near each other but probably wouldnt be the best if you were bringin a wife/gf with ya

I got room 109 today and it sounds like theres not to many rooms left. You got that fire going yet?? Anybody need Brat patties to take home?
 
I think I got sick last time i went into the dragon pass. I wasn't the driver but the left then right and left again made me puke...!!!

+1 on the hotel section of Fontana.

The best bets are the cabins.

Ron and Nancys places are great. With both rented we could get 30 or so there.
 
looks as if it might be a pretty busy weekend up there... this is whats already scheduled for the gap

I heard there was also a Miata club gathering there......that was the other group gathering at the Phillips.
 
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERONE!!!

Jeremy and I are offcially booked at the Phillips, Rm108.
Mrs. Phillips told me she is looking foreward to our group again as we are a lot of fun, very polite and well behaved?.

FYI, we have stayed at the Fontana resort on several of our trips and have had pretty nice rooms overall, somewhat nicer than the Phillips, just slightly more expensive but with alot less freedom for late nite outdoor BS around a campfire.

There is a restuarant on site but the price is high and selection limited as are the hours. If we get too big for the Phillips it would make a good second choice.

Checked out the 2 Wheel Inn on last trip, may be nice to have a room for the bike but IMHO it has no character.

Am eagerly counting the days till the trip and good times. hope everyone has a blessed, safe and merry Christmas and
Happy New Year.

April 28-30 officially, folks will begin arriving on the 25th I believe and some will stay til the 2nd or 3rd
