My thoughts exactly. From all indications, this is the best handling Busa ever. Why lowering?

I feel your pain brother.I looked at mine in a corner of the garage covered in spider webs. Been a while since I rode.
Ran out of apple pie, so Just had some cinnamon rolls, does that count? Lol!I feel your pain brother.
Have some pie, it will help…lol

Maybe with a lowered front end. I can use my Pit Bull steering stem stand on my stock height busa. This bike came lowered (via a triple riser) at purchase, PO. PitBull head stands don't easily fit up into the triple when lowered - angle prevents the arm from reaching and pin from seating correctly.
Copy that. I'll try flipping the pin around 180 when it's back downMake sure you have the pin in the right way. The part that goes up in the hole should tilt forward a few degrees. It is machined with an off center axis compared to the larger diameter that fits into the handle.
Agreed. It was set up for the V Strom - fully extended. I put it up like that the first time, dropped it 3 notches to what it is in the pic, but you're right - another notch or two should do.Also, looks like you could adjust the stand an inch lower by your last pic. That would help a lot to get the pin under and in the steering stem.
For me, too. Wasn't worried at all about the structure - let it crash! - but the bike ... said to it, Don't you worry, honey, I will catch you if you fall.It was pretty scary.
Hey Marty! Glad to see you back on the forum! I tried texting you a few months ago to see if you were doing ok and still out there popping wheelies, but not sure if you still have the same number from when you helped me out with my ECU flash.Yes...they are much better
You'll be able to tell by looking closely at the pin. This pic shows the correct way the pin goes into the handle. Notice the part that goes into the steering stem is tilted just a bit compared to the part that goes into the handle. I never tried using my Pit Bulll stands with the pin in the wrong way but they're designed to be used as shown in this pic.Copy that. I'll try flipping the pin around 180 when it's back down

Glad to hear you are doing well. Be sure to share some pics of your backroads shenanigans.Hey Miguel, good to hear from you again.
No, my number unfortunately got changed a couple years ago(long story, big headache).
I'm doing well, not doing much for wheelies with the 1k, but my friend has been on me since he got it for wheelie videos, and again recently, so we'll see.
I did my garage floor like yours last year too, what difference.
I'de read where you hadn't been around lately, glad to see you're still here man.
I've got plenty of resistance at the steering damper but wondering if I should swap oil anyway? Or leave well enough alone?Front End Tear Down
